S.A.G.E. + Hash Plant Haze

Have never tried either of these strains, but am giving them a shot. I found a lot of info on them, but mainly the genetics behind used to create each. Does anyone have any tips, experience, or advice for these two?

SAGE is a good un.

Never heard of hashplant haze, who's the breeder? Is it an f1 or is it worked? hashplant and haze are very dissimilar plants.

The Hashplant Haze is from DNA Genetics. I've also seen it under the name Annunaki. As far as the genetics, it is a Northern California Hash Plant crossed with a Cantalope Haze. I found the cross to be a little odd as well, such a squat-like hash plant and the haze being so lanky & stretchy but what I've read is that both are great hash producers

Any suggestions on when to induce flowering? Only would be a 4 maybe 4 1/2 feet of room overhead. Not much experience here with sativa's 'cept outdoor where size isn't an issue.

..Or anyone had experience with different phenotypes within either strain?

I do know, however, the Cannalope Haze is a cross of Haze Brothers x Mexican Sativa

DNA can be a little disingenuous with the descriptions perhaps.

They do sell some good genetics though.

If it shows the hazey side it could take a long time to flower so maybe don't veg them too long. Unless you have loads of room.

buy the DNA genetics.
i recommend the kandy kush.
if you're trying to breed yourself or you just wanna make some bomb ass bagseeds get their connoisseurs mix pack.
this stuff is straight out of cali. smokes like it, smells like it, tastes like it.
... best.

I'm hoping the Hash Plant traits will shine through. Is there anyway early in veg that I would be able to see any signs of which part of the genetics will be more prevelant? Is there anything in the early growth style of a Haze strain that is generally common or a characteristic?

Am thinking that it could be force flowered around 18-24 inches along will some LST/topping to bush her out more and try to keep her around 3-4 feet tall when finished. Does my height/flowering estimates sound good for about right? Got about 4 feet of vertical space to use.

The Kandy Kush sounds tasty. Been on my to-do list for some time. Have you ever bought to Connoisseurs Mix Pack? Curious about the selection/labeling of individual seeds within. I've heard of friends getting mix packs of unlabled seeds from other breeders :/

Yes. Haze plants will have skinny fingers on the leaves and tend to grow tall and thin.

Hashplant will tend towards squat plants with wide fat fingers on the leaves.

More haze dominant plants may well show sex later.

Also, haze is a light feeder. Seedlings which do well on little or no nutes will probably tend towards haze, those which do better with more feed towards indica.

I don't know how much they have worked on the strain to homogenise it.

Also it depends which Haze and which Hashplant they used, there might be some doubling up of Northern Lights in the ancestry.

Which would you be after, a hazy or stoney plant?

I have some organic nutes lightly premixed into peat. I'm hoping to get 'em through the early stages with this.

Not sure what you mean by that? Locking in the genes of the Hashplant and the Haze with less phenotypes?

Hoping for a stoney plant, wouldn't mind seeming some haze but cannot see myself wanting to sit through a long flowering process. 11 weeks, no thank you

Annunaki (by DNA Genetics Seeds) :: SeedFinder :: Strain Info

This link as well has some lineage info for this strain and some others, for anyone who has any curiousity. Not sure how accurate the information is however.

The accuracy varies.

I think seedfinder.eu do their best but quite often all they have to go on is the breeder's description.

It's a great resource for anyone looking to buy seed though.

The "seedcops" list of good and bad vendors is pretty useful.

Should be absolutely fine, that's what their genetics are adapted to.
