URGENT Sureshot and Kosh to the the Bat phone

help needed guys, your loyal Gotham City cultivator The Phat Pharmer needs your services

Situation.....

So here i am happily growing my first crop under lights 400W hps and everything is ticking along just fine. The two clones from Mavis are 46 days into flower and the buds are fattening up nicely.
You see the thing is i obviously know she is female but ive started to notice what appears to be male flowers appearing on the buds, closer inspection revealed a pollen like substance inside.
Now ive read somewhere that some plants produce male flowers at their point of maturity....... do you think this may be the case or do i have a problem on my hands.

Any tips, links or pointers in the right direction appreciated

But to your question phat, i wouldn't be too worried (dependent on how far you reckon there is to go) sounds like she is herming slightly. You know the score, you've seen it before.

What it would make me question though is whether or not you have some slight stress factors in your garden (light leaks, temp etc) that need resolving or else maybe the GG has tendancies that way.

Not sure what the strainbase says so it might be worth checking over at OG to see if anyone has had any past GG experience and if so whether it has late flower herming tendancies.

Whatever happens happens ultimately but i guess best advice for now would be too pick flowers when you can spot them, check and recheck every aspect of your room for any problems and perhaps consider trying some different strains after all it could just be the GG not liking being indoors quite so much.

You can remove the male flowers carefully with a pair of sissors. DO NOT TOUCH OR BREAK THEM OPEN IN YOUR ROOM. You will polinate everything. You will have seeds coming out of your yahooy. Cut them off carefully and throw them out.,, good luck,,,,scott

Decriminalisation comes to Britain

The above is a good summary though it doesn't mention growing explicitly I remember reading that cultivation had been bumped from 7 to 14 years too, though in practise I suspect you'd find very few who would even get a custodial sentance unless they were running 10 + plants and a long sentance unless you were on 50 + and obviously supplying.

The key is keeping plant numbers down and remaining only personal use.

No real improvement in the written law at all in my opinion, by inlarge though it serves one purpose, to show that public opinion has swung in our favour.

Anyhow, there it is lads, in a nutshell, that's our ultimate penalty. It's pretty scary but really just a reminder to stay safe, and stay personal.

As an aside, note the humourous closing paragraph...

No word yet from drug czar John Walters on whether it will be necessary to slow traffic between the US and Britain in order to keep this nation safe from the British weed menace.

^^Phat - let me know if you got to the guys in time, or if it has seeded? I hope not but at the same time the same thing happened in my garden about 3-4 weeks ago. It was that one plant in the back. I thought they were all girls then one day I saw a herm and fuckin' mayday! red alert! I freaked.
I removed it but it was in the back and for sure when I lifted and tilted it out and above the other plants that was probably enough to do the damage. Kosh's input about the stress might have done it, it got up to lower 90s/30s a couple times. Tons of seeds are on most of the girls. But then again so are a ton of crystals

But, this could also be a really good thing. The ladies are of great genetics, expensive (for my barely above welfare-arse) genetics, so from the other angle I will probably have $1000 or whatever worth of seeds I won't have to buy. I just need to be sure their offspring don't get gang raped like their ancestors.
Sorry that sentence was so viking, heathen, and barbaric.

Anywho, let me know what you did and how it worked out.
