Selection: (Plenty of choice? They have quite a few, I've only used them thus far for feminized seeds + marks out of 10(I'm a newbie, don't think it's fair to rate them)
Price: (Good value for money? for 10 feminized seeds I believe it was $125.00 canadian + ?/10)
Service: (Excellent. Problem with first order (I didn't get them), they sent another set out FREE) Took about 4-5 weeks for first order, 3 for second order. + marks 7/10 (they have points for ordering, but you have order A LOT (for me probably close to three or four years before I can benefit) before you receive anything)

Here is my review of the Vancouver Seed Bank. Short summary: thumbs up!

Selection: 7 - They have a pretty good selection of canadian genetics, but nothing from across the pond. The genetics cover a pretty wide range of types of weed, but there may be some of you looking for 'brand name' stuff that is of course Dutch. I've got nothing against Canadain genetics tho, and you can find the canadian versions of haze, big bud, northern lights, and almost all your other favorites.

Price: 7.5 - Price is alright, you can find cheaper seeds in Vancouver if you look around, but I'd say they are pretty average or just a little high. Of course we're talking Canadaian genetics prices not Amsterdam prices, so most strains are somewhere in the $50-150 range rather than the $150-300 range for Amsterdam prices.

Service: 9 - The folks I talked to were very friendly and helpful. I got talked out of buying some Northern Lights in favor of some Lemon Skunk, which was better suited to my growing space and gave a more cerebral high, which is what I was wanting. I've grown this strain twice now and have been very pleased with it. The folks there were very laid back and open to discussing the pro's and con's of various strains that they sold.

Stealth Rating: N/A - It's a store front, they say that they sell cannabis seeds on the front door. Not very stealthy, but then again that's not what they're going for, so this doesn't apply.

Would you order from the same bank again: Yes - I'm hoping to get up there soon to get a couple more strains now that I have a little experience and feel up to a little more advanced/challenging grow.

Other Comments: If you are in the area visiting, you ought to swing by. The fact that they exist is a good thing, and if we can help keep them going, that will be good for everyone in the long run.

Next time I'm up there I may hit urbanorganix too, just wondering if anyone's been there before and if they had any problems. I don't get up to Vancouver very often, and when I do I don't have much time, so I'm kind of curious about all the variety shops I saw up there selling pipes and such. Would those places carry seeds too, or is that only at the seed banks??

It is not a shop.

I have used it to find seeds and it directed me to good prices in good stores.
