Rossetta stone

Originally a brothers Grimm cross.

Here are a few threads I found about it.

I found RS to have 2 pheno types, A:Sativa ,pine tree shaped bud B:Indica ,club headed shaped buds. The Sativa pheno seems to take a week longer to fill in compared to the indica pheno . I was extremely impressed with the hardiness of the strain and it's never die attitude. Rosetta Stone is low-odor. with a wonderful sweet smell and a sharp/sweet hint of spice. The buds are very hard and very sticky fruity smelling, perfectly balanced Sativa/Indica hybrid. A definite keeper in any connoisseur?s garden. Rosetta Stone is a fast-flowering plant with heavy resin production and average yield. It clones easily and a (very) easy plant to grow. It was created by pollinating a unique Ginger-Ale /Cafe Girl female (that produces super thick nuggets ) then crossed with a very reliable resin-enhancing father.

Taste: greasy ginger/herb, very smooth smoke
High: Clear head dominated high with no paranoid rush
That's from OG's strain guide.
This one sounds quite nice.

i remember drooling over brothers' grimm stuff at Heaven's back in the day. did they shut down entirely when vancouver was first hit by the sweep of glass raids? they had amazing strains with the credentials and respect from the community to back it up.. i've always wondered where the strains went, and have always hoped to one day come across a lucky clone or two.

As far as I know they shut it down.
Too bad hey? Some kick butt strains.

But you seem to be able to get thier crosses from others like Spice Brothers.

^yeah, Spice bros carry 2-3 R.Stone based strains (dont remember if they re femed too).

They say its not 100% stabilised, but overall it wont dissapoint you.

The buds in the pics looked very nice.

i feel like it's safe for me to say that we will always have an interest in your projects.. stabilization of a strain that has gotten great reviews, yet is still somewhat uncommon and unique. keep me in mind

The seed was meant to be spread.

I'll definately be growing RS from Spice Bros next year outdoors in Oz, the two phenos look fantastic, and outdoor grows always benefit from hardy strains

Hey Dan, I told you I'd get back to you with some info on the high from RS.
This is what sunycheba from Spice Brothers had to say.

I always have some in my flower lineup.
Sounds absolutely brilliant

It does sound good. It has a very distinctive taste for sure, what it is I am not sure... yet.
I'll smoke her till I can figure it out though. LOL
I have been smoking her a bit and it is definitely a "high" as apposed to a stone.
I think a month or better cure will really let her shine.

There has been a little bit of interest in this strain... me too
I had 6 seeds left 1 went for a tumble on the floor.
That's an instant addition to my stoner madness mix.

OK I have 5 seeds and decided to plant them straight into soil for a change of pace.
This time we are focusing our attentions on finding a daddy.
If the 50-50 ratio holds fairly true there should be 3 or 4 males in there.
One will suffice to make seeds for a larger run later on to see what we can see.

Well now, of the 5 left one was split fairly wide open.
I placed it into cup #5, we shall see if anything comes of it.

Two of the babies are showing a bit of whitish green above soil.
It's been 4 days since planting

I planted 5 seeds and 1 came through for me.
That one turned out to be a girl which is grand.

At this time she is 48 days in flower and looks to be going another 2 weeks.
