4th Anniversary of Gov's Murder

It was actually yesterday, on the 17th. I feel kind of ashamed that I forgot about it until now (only 45 min late, but still). Anyway, for what it's still worth, your in my heart and mind, and you will have my respect always, Mr. Gorman. We all talk the talk, but few walk the walk, and you walked as proud as any.

Dude...Tokin and I were going to meet up with him for lunch. And then we weren't.

:(

I'm sorry I missed the guy. Read some of his posts, seemed like quite the personality.

RIP Dimebag Derryl and Ken Gorman! Both stony men, cut down before their time.

Has anyone heard if anybody was ever caught for this or if it's even an investigation into his assassination or does it just go down as another bad drug deal?

turmaline 02-19-2011 07:45 PM

fuck Dimebag Daryll

R.I.P Ken.

OldMan&TheWeed 02-19-2011 07:54 PM

I read a lot of his posts, but I only posted to him once--a day or so before he was killed.

Four years already. :(

Three years after his murder, memories of Ken Gorman -- Colorado's most vocal pot activist -- have gone up in smoke - Page 1 - News - Denver - Westword

don't be mislead by the title,

this is an excellent article, everyone should read it.

The Rev 02-20-2011 02:41 AM

I think it's cool how the article mentioned Yahooka, and the efforts of TC to investigate his case and find some justice for Ken.

It clearly shows a side of both Ken and Charles most were unaware of.

I'm very pleased about that.

Not many people come along too often who can affect change the way Ken Gorman did. Too soon. Ken is up there in people I admire who lived what they believed.

Too soon.
