Falling in and out of love
Do you think it's easier or harder to fall back in love with an ex, than it is to fall for someone new, or generally just someone else (maybe a friend for example)?
Obviously if they're an ex because they've cheated or something to that effect, there's going to be a large feeling of anger and resentment, but in circumstances where maybe the relationship failed due to something like distance/arguments, would you agree the feelings that were once there (or that perhaps still are there only being over shadowed by something negative), pose a considerable advantage at getting the 'magic' back? Personally I've only had around 3 serious relationships before now. The first one was a case of her cheating, the second we broke apart because she generally lost interest (could have been due to distance), and the third- I didn't feel it was working out right for me anymore. Obviously the first ex cheated so it wouldn't be the best idea to return. My second and third ex's both changed after we broke apart, very much into people that I didn't like (not that they turned nasty, just into people I wouldnt consider for a relationship). Do you think providing both people stay the same, and the relationship didn't end firstly over something like cheating, there's always a good chance of restoring it once each person has had time to clear their heads? |

My last ex cheated on me. Sometimes I'm tempted to take her but that's because some days I feel she's the only one that'll have me but after awhile I realize I don't need no woman in my life.

the same problems that you broke up for will not go away. sometimes they will take a while to come back, but they will come back. it is easy to get back with an ex cuz your comfortable with them allready. its easier than falling for someone new or just being on your own. but it is in the end a better way to go than getting back with an ex

i think it depends on the situation. if you have been broken up for a good long while then just stay apart. if you broke up in a heated situation that took you by surprise and broke up in that situation and have had time to reflect and it was like a few days ago then maybe, but even that has got to be some one really super special. i'd say with a few exceptions your exes are exes for a reason and just stay away.
