if u know someone that says they re planning to kill themselves its better to report it somewhere (their parents, relatives, local authorities etc), than see them die

You call the emergency services, and give them their email address or whatever, myspace page name etc.... There's shit in the news every other month about some social networking tween saving a life doing this.

Yeah, fuck, it's a shitty thing to do. It sucks having to call their relatives/whatever, and having to tell them their daughter/son said they were going to kill themselves.

lol this thread wasn't neccesary at all. Just gotta distance myself from emotionally fucked people is all. I only felt bad cuz when she said she was gonna slit I responded with 'have fun'. then a couple messages later etc she made it seem real. I suck oh well. rawr!

People who a seriously going to off themselves will, you wont find the note until its a done deal, there is no drama or tease. They show up dead.

People who threaten and talk smack and all that shit will probably out live most of us.

This isn't to say there aren't exceptions to the rule, some wolf criers will actually do themselves in, but it probably wasn't what was intended.

damn i wouldn't say distance yourself from them as someone above suggested.. If anything be as supportive as you can, let them know that you are there for them, etc.. and def try to notify the authorities if it appears to be that serious. some people that do stuff like this do so to get attention, and some are very serious about it.. A friend I've known since preschool left an away message on his msn "a fuckin hole in the head" and he shot himself in the head.. I guess there's not much i couldn't done, seeing as I didn't notice it until after he killed himself.. but i did still feel a little guilty for some reason
