Acid party or chill?

So I've recently reconnected with some old friends that I haven't seen in almost 9 months. They invited me over to their house to chill last Friday and preempted them with a party that I had already said I was gonna go to, but that I'd "For sure come over next week"
So I was looking forward to chilling with them this Friday but I just got a text inviting me to a free acid party at another friend's place.
I really really want to go to the party cause I haven't tripped in almost a year and Idk when I'll see Lucy again. But I had promised them I'd chill with them.

LSD is a very important aspect of my life. But so are my friends, and I don't want to a drug to preempt my relationship with them.

What should I do?

The place where the party is happening is mad close to where they live, so I could leave early, but I think that would be even shittier.

Sit and think about it. Which one is more important to you? Given acid is an integral part of your life, so are friends. But are these friends a bigger factor of your life than the acid? If the answer is yes, then you know what you need to do. You alone must make this choice.

I forgot to say, I saw one of them last Thursday and will be seeing all of them this upcoming Thursday(the day before)

why dont you go to the party, get sum hits, chill for a while then dig to your friends house and trip with them?

id try n find another time to hang with your friends. are they not into tripping? maybe you can see if you can get them into the trip party?

tough call, acid is amazing, but friends might get upset if you keep giving them rainchecks

Dude, just talk to your buddies. Tell them there's an acid party that night and chill on the weekend or have them over your house on Friday or something. I would honestly go hang out with my friends over drugs, any day.

Ed got called in to work this weekend so Sara's gonna come drop with me, and Ed is gonna go on the road(trucker)!!!

Fuck yeah I love it when things work out.

And I asked them, and they both said they would have been totally cool with me going to the group and hooking up with them later in the week.
