Homeopathic Remedies - SHARE YOURS!

Sorry if a thread already exists about this, if so mods feel free to delete this and point me in the right direction!

Rules: We all know Cannabis has great medicinal values but the price of which and the legal status of such may not be appropriate for all situations.

Here's a great one I just recently picked up!

Insomnia:
- Hops tea! Put fresh(or dried stored) flowers into a tea-bag and steep in the tea-pot for 3 minutes(or until the water takes on a nice pale green color). Microwaves work too! Just be careful as always. Some people much dislike the taste of hops(unless it's in there beer), however there are SIMPLE ways to combat this. I like to add just a touch of lime juice(you know the green bottle limey thingy), it makes it taste citrusy and really good(IMO).

Hops is very very soothing. Don't abuse it though in large quantities it can cause seizure like side-effects.

This is an excellent alternative for all you recovering beer drinkers, but once again don't slam 6 cups of hops tea and pray you'll get wasted. You won't. It just helps to take the edge off at night-time and I find it to be mildly euphoric(it is a cousin to our favorite herb).

Now I'd love to hear what remedies you beautiful, nature loving people have run across in your days!

and SO much <3!

my ex from st lucia would give me carrot juice to cure everything.. and it worked. i don't know what she put in besides carrots and love, but the stuff worked for every sickness i've had the past couple years.

blow's always good too though.

I have trouble staying asleep once I fall asleep, like waking up 2-3 times a night. So I got this tiny spray bottle (which happens to be 27% alcohol, and 5x Dilution of Helianthemum Nummularin Hpus, Prunus Cersifera Hupus, Ornithogalum Umbellatum Hpus.) Worked pretty well actually

@ hyperfederline: i think if you were to go through my posting stats you'd be hard-pressed to find more than a couple that start with 'my ex'.

Also Flamingnun, been there done that, hence the sleeping troubles. But to each his/her own.

Way to be a negative nancy(sorry for being brash), over a way positive idea of a thread. Like I said I LIKE TO. You can also add honey, or sugar, a pepper mint sprig/candy, or just brave the hops(its not bad but some people dislike it). You do realize people put lime slices in tons of drinks right? Or have you never had an experiance with such? If that's the case, go to your grocery store and give a lime or a lemon a try. Also that ass was meant to be add, but I end up on yahooka at night when I can't see my keyboard, so my bad for that.

Catastrophe, I'll have to look into that stuff. Looks pretty good. I have that problem after I can FINALLY get to sleep. Sleep troubles really do take a toll on a persons health and mind-set, so thanks for showing me something and contributing to the thread.

Back on topic:
Also I recently tried some mint tea + Valerian root(store bought, if you are interested in the brand just ask). My experiences with Valerian root have always been calming and relaxing. But not doped up/down feeling. Just relaxing. It seems to help me with my mood swings as well. I hope my body doesn't get a tolerance because I've found a new friend!

and <3 everyone!

Chamomile is supposed to be a sleep aid.

It grows here in Ky. I found it growing profusely in the barn lot, at my mom's farm. It grows in full sun and blooms in the heat of the summer. I think the flowers are what the tea is made from. One year I picked for 2 hours and got enough for about 1 cup of tea.

I use CHIA SEEDS to help with my digestion I usually soak them in water or gatorade
they form gel on top of the bottle then I shake them up and drink them down.
they give me great energy too.
Chia seeds are really great!

atm i am currently trying to get rid of any unwanted parasites by taking a tincture of Black Walnut Wormwood Glycerite compound with Thyme, Cascara Sagrada and Quassia. Also taking grapefruit seed extract gel caps to try and rid the anal itch.

i cannot remember the process of preparing or anything except rubbing olive oil on the bottom of your feet before you go to bed...

person who told me said they always felt better after.

lol it sounds funny to me.

thanks to everyone for the remedies, i just wish someone may know the olive oil thing i heard about.

damn i think she told me to put something in the oil and let it sit for 24 hours...

some weed always cures me of those pestering thoughts and problems such as this
