dude you can do it, I make about the same as you and I have a nice little apartment with a small fenced yard, cell phone, cable tv and internet and a fridge full of beer.

it's not that bad at all. just make sure your job is steady and make sure you sit down and figure out all of your monthly expenses. Remember, as others have said, that putting away emergency funds is crucial. also, putting at least 100 away each month for general savings is a really good idea too.

you can do it man, I was nervous as shit when I went out on my own, and still worry more than I should, but all in all, it's definitely doable within your budget.

maybe for now you could go to a community college to get all of your preliminary shit done.. hell of alot cheaper and would give you a year or two to improve your financial situation for a university and car n shit.
