Is less parental control a good thing ?

Less parental control as in our kids spend more time at school or just less parental control in general?

Either way I don't know how to answer that, I think it's healthy to find a nice equilibrium between the two.

But to throw a spin on this thread I believe home schooling is un-healthy.
