Doing the best I can at trying to remember to take care of myself, well except for the eating and sleeping part, not so great at those right now. Tonight my husband is resting comfortably (drugged as hell) they have all the good
shit at the hospital.. He will have a second surgery in the morning to remove the old catheter, and will have his first hemodialysis treatment in the afternoon. Not looking forward to
that, you see he hates the sight of blood, so sitting for three plus hours hooked to a machine, watching your blood be cycled thru over and over isn't exactly going to be fun for him. But he wants to live.... I'm
hoping by tomorrow night I can bring him home..

I wish I could believe the worst is over, everytime I think we're ok, some other bullshit comes along.
Right now I'm sitting outside, having my
morning coffee and cigarette, listening to the birds. Hoping the day goes smooth, husband back in surgery at 8 am, so if you're up and about then, have a morning toke and send us well
wishes! I'm gonna go finish this bowl and get back in the hospital.

that's rough jojo. i'm sorry to hear what you're going through but it sounds like your husband is lucky to have someone like you there for him. i hope and pray it turns out well, and that you find continued strength throughout

It's amazing how strong we are, when we need to be. I always considered myself a little weak, and over emotional. I am
far stronger than I ever imagined.. A lot of people ran away from my husband when he first got I'll, I ran towards him... The coolest thing, all of our initial
history is buried in the archives of yahooka. Someday I'm gonna look it up, just for fun. There is a thread somewhere, he asked me to marry him..

Been waiting for over two hours for my husband to come out of recovery, still
sleeping. Nerves are wrecked, but just snuck out and smoked a quick bowl, so I can maintain a while longer.... I hate this waiting... And my phone is about to die, so there goes my Internet..

I can actually say that so far today, everything is going smooth. My husband had his first hemodialysis treatment last night, and got thru it just fine. His major problem today is pain. Having two surgeries in two days has really got
him in some serious pain. After me throwing a bit of a fit this
morning, i managed to get dr to give him a
stronger pain medicine. Now
if we could just smoke some
weed in the hospital we'd be all
set. Stupid hospital rules..
Not
sure how long they will
keep him this time, hopefully
we won't be in here for two weeks again..
I'm busy trying to keep his spirits up, when he's happy, then I'm happy.

I'm going to head outside, they are having a farmers
market today, looks like fun, and a nice distraction.
