ok i'm going to keep this curt, because it's a story which spans multiple years.

anyways, acquaintance from work, several years ago, we hooked up or whatever, ended up just being really great friends. 2 years ago, she up and dissapears, cuts off all contact with me (up until like last week). Now, it's not like I didn't try and get a hold of her in those two years, oh hell no I tried my hardest because she was a friend that I valued and whatnot. She'd be clearly active on facebook and I'd send her a message every few months along the lines of "hey whats havent heard from you give me a call _phone number_ are you alright??" but never got any replies. I even saw her around my 'hood once or twice (didnt have the chance to stop her and be like wtf).

SO ANYWAYS, she finally gets back into contact with me like 2 weeks ago. Some time previous to this I heard from a mutual friend that she was pergnant. So she's all "oh i haven't seen you in so long i miss you bla bla bla lets go for coffee or whatever" so we're planning for like a week trying to coordinate schedules, I take two days off for her sake because I know pregnant women aren't necessarily always going to be up to doing something.

Anyways, long story short, she stood me up on both days (i lost out on 2-300 dollars at work for no good reason because of that). Not "Oh i'm not feeling up to it today because i have a little human inside of me" not even answering her phone. 2 days later she's back on my facebook jock all like "omg i missed you the other day ".

basically i'm being really cold atm and planning on just telling her to piss off and find someone else to stand up because after 2 years of silence and being stood up twice in 48 hours I'm not really interested in being her friend anymore. I have enough self respect these days to let people like that go fuck off and find shitty friends to treat like shit, not me.

Am I being a dick to a pergnant girl or am I totally justified in telling her that she's a disrespectful little piece of shit and that if she really gave two shits about me as a friend she would not have a.) iced me out for two years and b.) stood me up the last week. twice.

oh yeah her excuse for the 2 years was that she "started a new job and it was really crazy (managing a restaurant I believe)" and so she just started "pushing people out of her life" because her job was "so busy".

Personally I get a bit of downtime in every year but... what the fuck yo. what the fuck womenz.

you are pissed off because you invested real time and (emotional) energy and you are not getting anything back -and its natural to feel disapointed/unhappy about that.
but this doesnt mean you have to get revenge or punish her for her wrongdoing, because to do so is just to invest more emotional energy, and reinforce an angry vengeful attitude that you dont really benefit from.

I'd rather show her by example something she can try the next time she feels it necessary to "push people out of her life". with a good amount of guilt tripping thrown in but to be honest I'm hesitant about the guilt tripping, but I'm definitely not ok with just not saying anything.
