practically my big brother, killed himself today. shot himself in the heart. i just got done screaming and crying like a baby. he was 26 years old. RIP Robert Poteet, the good die young.

please send your prayers and condolences..

I don't know really anything at all right now I just found out about 30 minutes ago, I had to take a fistful of xanax to bring me out of a monstrosity of a panic attack. my other best friend (Rob's step-brother) called and told me, he didn't say much between crying, and he had to help comfort Rob's younger brother.

I JUST SAW HIM ON SUNDAY for the first time in a few months, he had all these brand new tattoos to show me and told me him and his girl were getting a new apartment and told me to come over anytime. this is my third friend to die this summer, second from suicide.

I am dead inside.

I lost two friends I met the same night 18 years earlier, within 2 months of each other in 2006. Two of the nicest people I have ever met. Devastated me. That sucks, man.

That sucks man. I always felt that people who kill themselves are selfish in regards to those they leave behind. But hey, I also realize I'm not walking in their shoes.

That being said, my best friends father, a reverend, killed himself with a shot gun shot to the chest about 15 years ago. My best friends younger brother found him in the basement of their home. My best friends little brother has been an alcoholic pretty much ever since -self medicating I assume. I grew up with these people since I was 8.

It's a horrible thing to deal with.

Holy Cow MIB, I'm so sorry to hear that. Much condolences to you and your friend's family. I know how it feels to lose a close friend. My boy Charlie died last year, kidney failure due to his MS. Fuuck, words can't describe how bad it feels. Idk what I could do, but if there's anything lemme know.

I really don't have much information. I am baby sitting Rob's nieces and nephews right now while his brother his brother's wife are out taking care of some kind of probation stuff. Still waiting to hear more details, everything is very foggy right now.

All I know for certain is; he's gone.

my only advice is to live everyday to the fullest for yourself and his memory.
