Friend Steve is in the ICU, complications with a stint in his neck from a previous round of strokes and now the heart isn't looking so good. Two angioplasties and a nitro drip for now. He's in good spirits, awake and alert, with his daughters by his side right now.

I'm not religious but honestly, this is a shitty time for this to go on so please call on whoever it is you believe in and pitch some strength his way.

Might be helping, we've moved from the ICU to a semi-private and there is talk of release but it's all tentative as another 'episode' can send him back to the ICU.

Nitro patch for now, pacemaker possible. He got to see his grand daughter for the first time in over a week and that's probably been the best medicine so far.

Day by day folks, day by day.

I don't know if I said it in the first post, Steve is 46.

Take care of yourself now people, it's easier to deal with old shit in decent shape.

Out of the hospital, on two feet not four wheels and resting at mom's house until further notice.

She has previous experience in this field since it was her husband she was keeping alive not too long ago (and every day since)

I'll keep y'all posted.
