should I get circumcised

For a long time I thought that circumcision was a foolish practice. Now that I'm getting more tho it's been causing me some problems. My foreskin sometimes becomes inflamed or sore. I've heard however that circumcision can reduce sensitivity. I know that many american women prefer the asthetics of a cut dick but my gf says she doesn't even notice.

So since yahooka is my semi-anonymous online family I thought I'd ask for some advice. What do you guys think?

pros:
no more tearing or inflamation of foreskin
no more smegma to have to wash off
sexier boy parts

cons:
can't be undone
no orgasms for like 2 weeks
I'm sure the pain will be crippling at first
possible loss of sensitivity

i hear its painful but ive never heard about losing sensitivity...

it also helps prevent the spread of stds, not sure if youre at a monogamous phase in your life, so that might be something to consider.

Maybe if you didn't beat off so much your dickhead wouldn't be enflamed from large amounts of friction.

The pain caused by such a procedure makes it not worth it to me.

i was circumcised as a baby so i cant really give you a before and after picture. but i will tell you it still feels nice.

This type of decision is purely subjective to you. You've got the right idea going with the pros and cons, but it's not only the pros vs. the cons, but the weight of those pros vs. cons. I'm sure a lot of it comes down to not knowing what to expect, but since the majority of guys are usually one way or another their entire lives (basically), it's hard to really gain that kind of perspective aside from going through with it.

It's a procedure you obviously can't reverse, so if the problems aren't getting any better and you've tried everything else, then by all means. If you're worried about sensitivity, I am one of those men who have been cut their whole life so I can't really tell you if there is any major difference.... but I'm sure your main concern is whether you can still find sex enjoyable. I'm also sure that if any diminished sensitivity affected this in any major way, voluntary circumcision would be non-existent outside of those wanting to become eunuchs!

I will, I'll them tomorrow and tell them the internet has some questions.

I can tell you allready that the pain isn't as bad as you'd think. None of them have experienced any numbness, or decrease in sexual pleasure. But that could be luck. I don't know much about the whole ordeal except what they've told me.

One of them said that the weirdest thing about it was feeling his clothes rub against the head. He had to get used to that.

Oh and that flower thing, no joke.

I'm just trying to put myself in your shoes here due to my lack of a penis of my own, but I can't imagine doing that as a grown-ass man. It seems like it could be traumatizing. That being said, I must fit the "American girl" description because I do have a slight preference for circumcised dicks, but not enough to make a difference if I was into somebody. I didn't know that being uncut would cause you to have a buildup of wiener cheese though, that's new to me.

My homie Twiggy got the old Johnson Foreskin Chop back in HS. He had a dick head infection or something. Anyways, he came back that day all loopy and out of it from the surgery. But the next day he was just like back to normal. So from what I've seen its a quick recovery.
