I used to be a Hellraiser (still am sometimes) always getting in trouble and disappointing my parents. Well I got my girl preggo like 3 years ago and we've been raising our son together since then.

My dad and me were fishing out on the boat about a month ago and he said "that boy" was the best thing that ever happened to you because you're turning out to be a fine young man and great father....I almost cried when he told me that but I couldn't let him see me cry...lol.

If I can turn out OK, YOU can too bro...and good luck with your situation.

If you got at least $20,000 in the bank, a paid off car and a guaranteed job for at least a few dozen years so you can keep paying on the house you're buying then Yay! Go for it.

If not then you aint ready.

No matter what anyone says.

You want to talk what it'll cost to raise the little buggars, mine are 19 and 21 and I haven't stopped paying yet.

Well, I hope it happens for ya BSS, and congrats to the rest of ya'll.... I would give anything to have one of my own, but my wife had her tubes tied before we got together and then had to have a hysterectomy a few years later, so it never happened for me.
I raised my little sister though from the time she was 1 til about 4, my parents split up, my mom was working all the time and my dad was in another state, so I was cook, diaper changer, bottle washer etc... I loved it, and I was only 15 at the time.
