Hoping

So i mentioned on friday i was supposed to go out for sushi with this girl. i was never able to get in touch with her. Sunday morning comes around and ive basically not given the situation too much thought since friday. My friend texts me asking if i know where the girl i was supposed to go out with is, and that no ones been able to get in touch with her since friday. i told my friend i had no idea, and explained how i though she had blown me off for the date. so i start worrying a little bit, but just hoping she lost her phone or something.

later on sunday i get a message from someone on facebook who i know, but dont really hang out with. he tells me that the girls mom wanted him to relay a message that the girl crashed her car pretty badly on friday and was in the icu over the weekend with head trauma, and that she is now out of the icu but still hospitalized. i guess she didnt break any bones, but obviously head trauma is not a good thing, and now shes having some memory problems, and is acting like shes a kid again

basically im just asking for everyone to keep her in your thoughts/ prayers if you pray.

I have a friend who hit a tree and was in a coma for 10 weeks, she was pretty out of it for awhile. No memory and pretty much acted like a child. Now she is in college. That was only 4 years ago.

Wow, that sucks man. Head trauma is some scary stuff to be messing with. Hope she gets better soon and gets back to %100. Keep us posted on how shes doing.

At least you know she didn't turn you down though

Major opportunity to impress her and her parents- if things worked out you'd be meeting them eventually anyway.

ya im hoping to get to see her. the problem is we just started "hanging out". friday would have been the first time i formally asked her out anywhere, so i dont know exactly where i stand as far as visiting her right now. i just got off the phone with a friend whos been getting info from one of her close friends who is at the hospital. they said shes doing better today(as opposed to yesterday when i first found out), and is still heavily sedated, but when she is awake she asks questions and stuff. which i think is a good sign.

Exactly, you 2 were hanging out. I'd say go for it. I'd think she could use some company. Maybe give a day or two before going so it's not creepy like. Keep in contact with her mutual friend/message passer and feel it out. I dunno man. Good Vibes that way..

Yeah just go visit imo. Maybe ask her close friends or her folks first?
