Unhappy Monsanto and the Pie in the Sky!!

Monsanto ~ Home

I've been away and in my travels I've seen some extremely disturbing stuff...we need a reminder that there's corruption on the highest level, people are not who they claim to be, there has been a mass transformation and people have changed/morphed......many have crossed to the other side and not by choice...We are Heading into Very, Very Dark Times...!!

And just so we all know....Monsanto is the Worlds leading supplier of which herbicide??

If you're a farmer/pharmer, you know who and what Monsanto represents.

Please share your thoughts while I sit here pulling my hair out at the roots...

Have we all gone completly Mad???

And a brighter note I got a $100 gift certificate to Barns and Noble and bought a bunch of gardening books, Next year I plan of doubling my plot, and adding some chickens! I am still harvesting Kale and Collards!

You can't stop the future. Get off the fucking tracks.

I say enjoy it. Watch the show for what it is.

You will die eventually anyway. Why spend the time before that worrying about shit you can't change?

Great, watch horticulture being trashed by a bunch of corporate fucks.

Monsanto get singled out for blatantly having no ethics. Google will turn up more examples than I can shake a stick at.

You may be fixating on the argument for or against GM crops, IDK- well that is another issue that Monsanto are involved in.

Either way, I don't really care. I'm not going to research something i don't give a shit about.

All I've gotten from this thread is Roundup = bad.

Do you prefer to pull the weeds by hand? Is that your beef?

Did the company hire goons to force you into using it?

Tell me, without any hippy nonsense, why you think its bad.

they are producers of round up, which alike their gmos causes infertility/ sterilization in animals and suspected humans.

they are trying to spray agent orange on america's farm land too. really sick.
America's farmlands to be carpet-bombed with Vietnam-era Agent Orange chemical if Dow petition approved

thanks for posting pharmG i'd be interested to hear about your travels and what you saw.

Hmmm.....

Just off the top of my head...

Monsanto has tried to patent DNA, which exists in nature. Luckily, that failed. This time.

Round Up was considered "safe" when it first came out. They are rethinking that one currently.

Monsanto has a created a bunch of toxic waste dump sites. They donate money to help with the clean up, which is the governments responsibility, for some reason.

Monsanto has already won lawsuits, where farmers had to pay because bees or the wind carried Round Up Ready pollen to farmers fields. Since farmers use their own seed (to save money), this makes it a certainty, that all seed will eventually be owned by Monsanto.

Basically, Monsanto is trying to own food.

and there patented seeds contain a terminator gene which prevents the plant that grows from their seed to produce more reproducing seeds.

profit monsanto is not Dow, adventure terminator genes have been developed but aren't currently in use. Monsanto HAS stated that they want to own 100% of the world's seed supply tho...

Patents expire after 20 years. They will never own all the seeds.
