how do i talk to a doctor or nurse without going to the office and having my MD know?
question about nasal fissures and healing and possibly leading to septum deviation.

well, i've had the fissure for a couple months and it didn't heal over too much, maybe a little. i don't want my MD to know cuz he's the only one that can prescribe me something for my back pain that i've had for several years and im going to a pain clinic in a couple weeks. I might takl to my dermatologist bout it but i really want to still do the last month of my "accutane" regimen.

Sounds impossible. If you can wait that seems to be the best bet but I'm honestly not sure what the situation is, so idk for sure.

what's a GP? general practitioner?

i was thinking of going to a walk in just to see what they say :/ but i doubt the nurse(s) would be allowed to give an expert opinion about something such as this for only the small fee.

if the pain management team at the clinic recommend i DO start some type of low dose opioid treatment along with the physical rehab program, i doubt he would prescribe. where i live, only one medical doctor can prescribe controlled substances.

he already asked me if i had any history of chemical or substance abuse. i just told him no cuz after all im not really addicted to anything. basically im not just shopping around for pills.

If you're getting fissures then find another method of ingestion or something man.

I think the doctor is a secondary issue.

from what i read this is easily managed by putting some cream up your nose with a qtip until the edges heal. i am pretty sure a nurse can give you that

idk,, ill check into that one^

but even with at home treatment, slits in the nose cannot usually fully heal, but rather stop showing symptoms like scabbing and dryness :\
