Questions regarding Cali/Colorado/Oregon MediPot laws

I'm curious how these states differ from one another in regards to obtaining a med pot license. I'm currently living in Philly and plan on relocating out west in the coming year. Medical pot laws will have a major impact on where I move. i thought I'd be able to easily find this info but no dice. So here goes...

From what I've been told, the list of medical uses in California is a mile long. Uses would actually include insomnia, back pain, and other non-lethal medical issues, correct? What about Oregon and Colorado? Are either/both more stringent than California? How so?

Another question I have is in regards to random testing in Boulder, CO and San Fran. Do these two cities have laws that prohibit random testing? I work in the engineering field and random testing is always a possibility depending on HRs mood. However, i noticed in our drug policy guide that our company cannot random test in Boulder or San Fran for some reason. Is there indeed a no random test law in effect there? I know that pre-employment testing is still done in these cities regardless.

Any other tidbits of information anyone thinks might be useful would also be appreciated. Thanks!
