I've got my referal to the 'pain clinic' next month. This is the only place that can prescribe the weed.

I am using my back pain as the reason, I have a fairly comprehensive medical file and can easily prove a real case.

What is it I need to tell the doctor? I already smoke and don't want him to realise that I am such a complete junkie.

Any one with any experience here?

I can't speak for Israel, but in Cali, if you want a 215 card, you just bring in a valid diagnosis and they give you a card and take your C-note. End of story. Nobody's looking at you sideways like, "Does he really NEED this, or does he just want to buy weed legally, the sneak?" In fact, I think the only thought on their mind is, "Cool, another hundred bucks."

IDK about Israel but in some countries they will be reluctant to prescribe if they suspect you're a junky (user, whatever). Depends a lot on how healthcare is funded.

Just be smartly dressed, act normal, that kind of stuff and it should be fine.

^I'm going to take a wild shot in the dark and say....Israel is going to be alot different than where spanky had his med card.

bd... you might get some better info if we know at least, the country you're getting your med card in.

Until now they were only prescribing for terminal cases or chemo or parkinsons. They have now widened it to chronic pain and some forms of depression, so it's getting easier, but they ain't idiots and the issue is fairly controversial still.

they sell the shit on the streets for $50 a gram, but it is the strongest thing imaginable.

Yea, it's true and I agree about info in one's own country.... but Spanky still has 100% more experience with the subject than I

So I thought, if nothing else this could give BD some basis to ask questions in Israel.

i've had a med card 4+ years (although, here, it's actually more or less called a dr. recommendation) and I since he's in another country, I really wouldn't be able to offer BD any more good advice than what FG's did. Which, was probably as great advice as he'll get.
