A friend Who Is in Seriouse Chronic Pain

What would be a good way about using marijuana without getting him high as a kite.

He is a friend who takes his sobriety very seriously, but is in a lot of pain and I was wondering how I could help.

Nothing is helping him and he doesn't want to go on meds.

I mean isn't the pain relieving part the being high as a kite part?

Edibles, tinctures work well for pain management without the head stone.

Granny Storm Crow has an amazing list of links on research and conditions

CBD prominent strains/extracts I would guess. Don't tinctures and edibles still get you feeling stoned?

I don't know the methods for production really, but there are ways of getting the medicinal properties out of it without getting stoned.

For example, there was some famous little girl who was having seizures and pot decreased them significantly. Her parents were making some sort of liquid out of the fresh leaves of the plant.

This info must be on the internet somewhere.

CBD oil is effective for some people. It's usually a tincture and it doesn't get you high. It also won't relieve pain like pills but that's the trade off.

The dispensaries here in British Columbia sell Cannabinoid edibles which ease pain and anxiety without the thc high. Children can use them as well as others who wish to remain alert and aware.
My friends wife who has epilepsy swears by it.
