OiNkDeCePtion Is Flying Blind
ONDCP Insider: Drug Czar's Office Is "Flying Blind"
July 17, 2008 - Washington, DC, US Claims made by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) that America is making "progress" in the so-called 'war on drugs' are not based on evidence or measurable performance, according to an essay published this week by former ONDCP budget director John Carnevale. Writing for the HuffingtonPost.com, Carnevale - who spent eleven years working in the Drug Czar's office - states: "[T]he Office of National Drug Control Policy" claims that America has reached a turning point in the war on drugs. In reality, we have little reason to believe a significant change has occurred." He continues: "Though Congress created ONDCP to formulate research-driven and performance-based policy, assess and modify policy through performance measures, and give a precise accounting of the federal drug control budget, ONDCP fails at all of those tasks." As a consequence, policy is now flying blind resulting in lost opportunities for more success." Throughout the first day, I kept noticing this one person who harrumphed, guffawed, and muttered every time someone spoke in ways critical of the drug policy status quo. By accent, she seemed to be from the United States. And she had a yellow badge, where everyone else had a red badge. Who was she? continued... OiNkDeCePtion I think the Barbarians were less savage, quickly killing their enemies. This naziette cheer leader for OiNkDeCePtion, blood thirsty, viscous. Diverting, sabotage, lies, incarceration, busting dispensaries. War on sick people, is that even in the book? Not since small pox blankets or syphilis experiments. Killing tree huggers and sinking the Rainbow Warrior. But to advocate that sick people go to jail, so religiously zealous and chock full of hatred. How can a human be so cold and deceptive? Brainwashing? Hypnotism? Drugs? Not in my name bitch! --DdC ![]() Morality is always the product of terror; its chains and strait-waistcoats are fashioned by those who dare not trust others, because they dare not trust themselves, to walk in liberty. -- Aldous Huxley Ganjawar: Prison Slave Labor, Rape & Pillage Deterrent It is legal in the United States to use slave labor. The 13th Amendment of the Constitution states that "neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted shall exist within the United States." czar-strategery
