Texas weekly Letter writing Campaign
"Operation Contact Hi!" is a weekly list designed to encourage mass, unique contact with 2 state Representatives & 2 Texas newspapers. Each week, a new list is published.
The reason it is important that large numbers of people contact the same politicians and newspapers at once is to get our cause more attention than one or two letters, calls, or e-mails (especially the canned kind) would. We write about HB 164, but you can add other bills or issues as you please. The most important thing is that we all write, and do so on a regular basis. This week's Operation Contact Hi! list: Operation Contact Hi! For the week of Wednesday, April 9, through Tuesday, April 13, 2009.
