That's why I said it should be decriminalized, like it is in Holland.

I'd like to see it legal also, but not so Cali can tax it to get themselves out of a problem they created. Why should I pay for that?

Because the government won't legalize it unless they get something out of it.

Basically it's just easier to keep it illegal than to do the work to make it legal and get little benefits from it.

The only way they will make it legal is if they get something out of it too(MONEY).

Get it?

Yes I 'get it'.

That doesn't mean I have to agree with it. You give up too easily, Cannabis was on it's way to being decriminalized anyway.

I worry about what will happen to the plant when money hungry people set up Cannabis companies and it ends up like tobacco, full of chemicals and addictive.

Actually its not really legal in Holland, its just not enforced, though I think you are on the right track, if we want free marijuana, we don't have to tweak the law, we have to do the same as in Holland, you have to convince the police not to arrest MJ users, LEAP is a good way to do so, if they had the money they could get to enough police, so my advice to you americans, stop begging congress to treat you right and start talking to the police.

The other day I was making a delivery, and I went to a baseball field to deliver, I got there and I see about 40 people just drinking alcohol and dancing reggaeton, I mean they were wasted, and they invite me to stay a while, so I did and started drinking a few beers, some hard drinks, anyways, when Im leaving they start telling me not tell anyone that I was drinking with the cops. And I started thinking like wow they were cops and I didn't figure it out myself, I always think I can spot a civilian cop, but there they were, 40 of them and I didn't notice, and I thought, cops are our neighbors, they are people like you and me, they do the same things and go through almost the same things as we do, they hate the government too, thats why they can't protest, they can't go on a strike or they get arrested, its illegal for cops to go on strike. So, what is easier to get:convince a politician who ignores you because his salary depends on it to legalize marijuana, or to convince our own people, our own neighbors, cousins and friends who became cops to ignore MJ users?

We have to reach to the cops, we should protest in front of cop stations and cop events, and radio shows, online and tv, we have to tell them to not be idiots and stop arresting their own non-violent non-criminal people. We have to educate the cops, not the politicians. Convince your own people, convince yourselves.

Thats the way I personally think we can reach the goal, but begging politicians to take their hearts out of the closet and put it on? Sit and wait boy...

Yes exactly it is just decriminalized. They tolerate it's use in the coffee shops, and in your home, but you can be arrested for smoking and distributing in public.

Thanx I'm glad someone sees my point.

I think bud should just be kept at a grass roots level, and not become a commercial product which is what could happen if it's made completely legal.

Protest your state to allow medical and then go see the doc with back pain, all will be good. Keep the government out of it as much as possible.

hehe drinking with cops, cool story. The cops here where I live don't care about bud, I've smoked right in front of one (accidentally), and he didn't do anything. Even though I'm legal he didn't know that. They know it's harmless, but either way they have to follow what the city tells them and here at this time it tells them it's a low priority.
