I thought for sure that this conservative court would hear this case and rule in the favor of these renegade counties. I'm relieved.

Maybe the 10th amendment will earn the respect it deserves and individual states will be allowed to tend to their own business in their own way.

The 10th was written as a safeguard against tyranny by the federal government against the states, but it was used as a cover for tyranny towards blacks and other minorities by the states themselves.

In the last 50 years since Brown, federal power, using the commerce clause as cover, has grown and grown. It's time to let the pendulum swing the other way.
