I'm a caregiver for my mother (who doesn't live with me). I have 4 seedlings and one large girl. Seedlings inside and mother outside. My neighbor is in the midst of a legal battle with another neighbor regarding the use of medical marijuana and I am wondering. If the cops show up and question me about my plants am I covered legally as a caregiver? I have an appt on Monday the 13th of July with a doctor to talk to him about becoming a patient myself. I am waiting to hear what he says. I'm not sure what will happen, but I'm pretty sure with my history that he will write my letter and then I can get a card and apply for a growers cert. How long does it take in the Bay Area? Can anyone give me a heads up about what I have to expect? Even though I am new to growing, I refuse to abandon my plants. I own my house and I don't feel as if I should get rid of them.
