A short legal question here...
Is it possible by all means to sue a country (generally) for the attempt of Extinct a planet?
or ; is there a law (generally)that protects nature against extinction ?any anchored law regarding the subject? cheers

short answer, no. there are environmental standards in place but not all nations (U.S.) have chosen to adhere to these standards, and the enforcement of the policies is weak.
welcome to yahooka by the way. you might want to check out some threads before you start posting your own

Also, I'm sure the UN has exactly some things like what you're talking about.

I wouldn't give up hope on this. It's always legal to lobby on behalf of special inteterst and the environmental lobby is very well established. Also, there is an issue of private property you could throw in there.
I've never heard of a plant genocide though. Even with marijuana being illegal, states in the U.S. aren't allowed to do general "sweeps" of private property to look for marijuana to exterminate. |

Against Japan? They're squeaky clean in terms of modern Co2 emissions (guessing this is where it's going..). Plus, don't want to hurt the car industry even more than has already been done so!

well i was more into "save the plant" kind of campaign...
i wasn't asking this question specifically for a certain state nor nation but rather more as a global issue. i mean is it reasonable to gather a case for international court?
