US Waves White Flag in Disastrous War on Drugs.

it's about time they opened their eyes...i skimmed the article real fast because i was in a rush and it seemed like a good read...

basically what i saw was that they're going to pull the soldiers and funds wasted in foreign countries and redirect the attention on drugs at home...it also talks about reforming laws and the possibility (although very unlikely) of legalization of all drugs and the results of said legalization (elimination of the black market/statistics of violence and drug-related crimes and violence)...

i'm glad to see that the goverment is finally realizing that they've wasted so much, very valuable time, funds, and resources for 40 years!

now let's hope that the reformers have a good head with an intelligent brain on their shoulders

PS. Washington DC is more than likely passing medical marijuana. Soooo.
