William Courtney, high-CBD strains, and pot & carrot salads

I saw this article about Dr. William Courtney and immediately thought of Yahooka. Basically he's and advocate for legalizing high CBD (and low THC) strains for their medical benefits. And instead of smoking it, he recommends making dinner.

Link.

i never understood, and still dont understand, why america as a society is against any type of euphoria-causing substance (other than alcohol [and that is a depressant]). i mean really, what is SO wrong with feeling good, and maybe forgetting about your woes for a couple hours?

i mean, i know the REAL reason behind the war on drugs ($$$), but this article is pretty much what im talking about. take a person dying of leukemia for example.... why is it too much to ask that this person not only benefits from the cbd's in cannabis, but also gets a little joy out of the thc? our puritan society really sucks my balls.

"here you go dying in misery guy/gal, smoke this faux-weed. you'll get a little hungry and sleepy, but DON'T YOU DARE FEEL GOOD FROM IT!!!"

it should be a choice. if some mmj ppl want to smoke tch rich cannabis, good. if other mmj ppl want the benefits of the cbd's without the thc, great. point is... choice.

not true. there are tons of strains w/ a high cbd count. not to mention that after a plant flowers and the thc production has hit it's peak, it [thc] then starts to degrade into cbd's and other cannabinoids. so in essence, flowering an 8 week indica for like 4-6 months should degrade most of the thc into cbd's and other alkaloids. however, it is true that strains are bred to contain large amounts of thc.
