Support HB 548 which would decriminalize pot in Texas lowering it from a class B to C misdemeanor, time is running out and getting the committee just to vote on it would be a victory, the head of the chair Gallego doesn't want to put it to the vote b/c he doesn't want the public to know who supported and didn't support the bill!!! call them and tell them you want a vote!!

BTW I called and all these reps telling them I support HB 548, and the other group telling them I support HB 1491, it took me 30 min, AND BE polite don't act like a pot head lol, and spread the word, if your active in other forums or have friends who smoke call them too! Spread the word If we can get the committee to vote on HB 548 or the medical marijuana to get a hearing that would be a victory for Marijuana in TX, When you call the people are nice and it doesn't take too long, come on Texans lets show our legislators we want to decriminalize weed and get medical marijuana!

EX of what to say: Call and say you are a registered TX voter and that you support support the bill(548 or 1491)(If you want list reasons why, but you don't have too)(Then if your calling for 548 say you want the committee to vote on it, if your calling for 1491 say you want the committee to give it a hearing, It's not hard and the people you call are nice enough, just try to press the issue and let them know what the TX people want
