pretty interesting table. sort it by country and look at the results.

china , the lowest usage on earth apparently , has .03% admitting lifetime use (this could be as a result of the belief that authorities monitor "anonymous" polls, so might not be accurate)

versus, us and canada and france and uk, which have 35%-45% adult lifetime use rates.

i really dont think its too cliche to realize that a huge part of the american dream, and the liberal western dream, has to do with getting high.

it sounds crazy, but just imagine china is an entire country of people like your or someone you knows total straight edge evangelical republican style people- with no liberal rachel maddow types splashed in to make things interesting, and to make the societal discourse varied and diverse.

i think there is more to this than most people recognize. why do all the liberal places with huge tech advancement and high levels of happiness also have the openmindedness and introspective personalities that come from smoking pot... oh i guess i answered my own question.

I'd like to do some research on the amount of usage of other drugs and the severity of the laws for possesion, etc. in some of those countries. Interesting...
