Discovery Channel - Weed Wars

I am surprised no one started this thread by now, anyway, did anyone see the show? And if you did, what were your thoughts on Jon opening up his 2 big ass CO2 canister to get rid of his spider mites infestation but the spider mites still owned his garden

Basically he said on the show it didn't work (CO2) but I think it may have been because there wasn't enough PPM's of CO2 to kill the little boogers.

Your thoughts?

Thanks,
Learning247

Yes, there are many ways, however doing my research I remember reading that CO2 is will also help prevent "bugs" apparently not in his case.

Look up something called SM-90. It's very effective with mites and prevents root rot as a bonus, along with other benefits.

I used this with great success. They only time I had a bug problem was when I introduced clones from an outside source.

You can also mix to apply via spray bottle as well.

^ no way, have you seen bill lately...?

I watched the first episode, and was unimpressed.

If I were from cali it may have held some interest.

It should have been called something other than weed wars.

I like the show more than I thought I would. I'm especially interested in the business side of it. They claim they bring in about $21 million per year from that one dispensary.

I am actually a fan of the show now, what I really like about the show is they are educating people what this plant can do for mankind and how versatile it really is. The problem is the government has already embedded in everyone's brains that this is a evil plant and if you use it your life is going to get screwed up, which is not the case as you all know. I am happy that the word is getting out there.

I am sure we can create hundred's of thousands of jobs (if not millions) if we could cultivate this plant in the U.S. and use it for everything it can offer us, which is a lot!

I don't think this show plays in Canada.
