![]() Graduating in 1974, Thomas joined the staff of the attorney general of Missouri, John Danforth, a young Republican who would become his political mentor. The only African-American in the office, Thomas requested to work in tax law, not civil rights. When Danforth was elected to the Senate in 1977, Thomas took a job in the private sector, at Monsanto, a St. Louis chemical company. His work there primarily consisted of shepherding pesticides through government registration. Mons anto's Agent Orange, All Over Again For seven months, the Environmental Protection Agency sat on a call to investigate the coca-defoliation program in Colombia. Cann abis Hemp: The Invisible Prohibition Revealed Justice Thomas (a former attorney for agri-business giant Monsanto) and 5 assenters have declared that since the PVPA does not expressly forbid utility patents on plants, then they are to be allowed, effectively circumventing the obvious intent of Congress when it made the original farmer’s exemption in the PVPA. This is unusual for a strict constructionist like Thomas. Remember Civics class? A constructionist is one who believes that if the law does not say you can, then you can’t. Hist ory of Fraud and Deception Involving ASPARTAME Supreme Court Collusion in ASPARTAME Coverup Clarence Thomas Former Monsanto Lawyer refused to consider arguments that the FDA had not followed proper procedures in approving aspartame, despite arguments that the product “may cause brain damage.” http ://www.hempfood.com ![]() This problem is much larger than just Monsanto against the concerns of the general population. Certain members of Congress (who are also members of the Dairy Livestock & Poultry Committee) accept PAC money from companies with dairy interests & also directly from Monsanto. The Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was groomed during his employment as an attorney for King & Spalding who also happen to represent Monsanto. Michael Taylor, Monsanto¬ís attorney, was hired by the Food & Drug Administration in an executive position of high authority. Margaret Miller and Suzanne Sechen, Monsanto's scientists, were hired by the FDA to review Monsanto's own research. I have trouble believing that there is not a conflict of interests in these examples. 99% of the "marijuana" eradications are ditchweed non psychoactive hemp rope. Eradicated with Monsanto and Dow. Profits and poisons running off into the drinking water, killing wild birds habitat for statistics. "U.S. law enforcement spends $7.5 to $10 billion annually enforcing marijuana laws. According to the FBI, 720,000 Americans were arrested on marijuana charges in 2001." Keith Stroup, (NOR ML) Clar ence Thomas's Cruel View of Prisoners Clarence the Cruel remains unusual. Two days before President Bush said Saddam Hussein has brought Iraq ''nothing but war and misery and torture,'' Justice Clarence Thomas again abandoned the entire Supreme Court to defend miserable prosecutions and torturous treatment of prisoners. Thomas has clearly declared his own private war, with no concern for collateral damage. http ://www.novembercoalitio n.org Had the US Supreme Court ruled against seed patents a few weeks ago, Proctor's lawsuit would have little ground to stand on. Unfortunately, it ruled in favor of patents, with Monsanto's ex-employee, Clarence Thomas, writing the majority opinion. This ruling has enormous implications that farmers and consumers might not be aware of until it's too late. Seed companies from the big multinationals like DuPont/Pioneer and Monsanto/DeKalb/Asgrow down to small ones like Podners LLC are patenting numerous indigenous plant varieties, as well as individual genes or traits, trying to monopolize anything that consumers or farmers might find essential or desirable. Monsanto's lawyer [Clarence Thomas] was appointed to the Supreme Court by George Bush, Sr. The deciding swing vote giving the election to George, Jr. was made by Clarence Thomas, Esq "They say you can't legislate morality. Well, you certainly can." Persecuting the Sick and Dying. Justice Thomas used the lecture to emphasise that he early on turned his back on the civil rights movement ![]() But now the patent ridiculousness has gone farther. Our Supreme Court, on Dec. 10, 2001, ruled 6-2 that plants -- any plants -- can be patented. Attorney General and Missourian John Ashcroft asked for the ruling, which was written by Clarence Thomas. Now the corporations don't have to do anything but collect plants and figure out the gene sequence. And at University of Missouri a project is on to figure the sequences of all the various beans, each valued by a particular tribe in a particular place, in Africa. Fran ken Shrub--Bush's Ties to Monsanto "Monsanto should not have to vouchsafe the safety of biotech food," said Phil Angell, Monsanto's director of corporate communications. Huge quantities were sold to the Chinese. It was later proved to be highly carcinogenic. Later on Monsanto would be infamous for the production of PCB's and Agent Orange which was used against the Vietnamese to destory their forests. Mons anto - StLouis Supreme Court Collusion in ASPARTAME Coverup Clarence Thomas Former Monsanto Lawyer In 1986, the Washington Post reported that the Supreme Court refused to consider arguments that the FDA had not followed proper procedures in approving aspartame, despite arguments that the product “may cause brain damage.” (Supreme Court obstructing Justice). Since Clinton-appointed Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a former attorney for Monsanto, it is unlikely that hundreds of millions of people will find redress. There are also indications of ties between Monsanto and elements in the CIA. ![]() Monsanto knowingly dumped 30 to 40 pounds of dioxin a day into the Mississippi River between 1970 and 1977 which could enter the St. Louis food chain... Thomas dissented from a 6-3 decision to ban the practice in Alabama of chaining prisoners to outdoor ''hitching posts'' and abandoning them for hours without food, water, or a chance to use the bathroom. If the governments of the world would fund studies looking for positive results of cannabis/hemp, there would probably be a sweetner made from hemp on the market that would be far safer than any other out there now.
My wife lost half the site in her eye due to aspartame. Doctor asked her if she had been drinking moonshine. The medical practice could not figure out where the problem came from. She almost died from drinking too many sodas laced with aspartame. This is legal though, as is a lot of other poisons out there. Better keep the non-toxic stuff illegal.
