Extradition Blues
Prince of Pot Fights Extradition on Drug Charges By Peter Lewis
October 25, 2005, Seattle Times Staff Reporte Extradition Blues The US government is in the process of spending at least a quarter of a million dollars to investigate, arrest and kidnap a prominent Canadian citizen from Canada and put him on trial in the United States. F U L L S T O R Y Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas. Joseph Stalin The Drug War Refugees Emery contends a news release issued July 29, the day of his arrest, reveals the U.S. government's intention to mute his efforts to advance the spread of marijuana. In the release, Karen Tandy, head of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, wrote: "Today's DEA arrest of Marc Scott Emery, publisher of Cannabis Culture Magazine, and the founder of a marijuana legalization group, is a significant blow not only to the marijuana trafficking trade in the U.S. and Canada, but also to the marijuana legalization movement. ... Hundreds of thousands of dollars of Emery's illicit profits are known to have been channeled to marijuana legalization groups active in the United States and Canada." The 'Virtues' of Ganja Tandy's office has declined to comment about the statement, but locally, federal prosecutors have distanced themselves from her remarks. The Ganjawar Fraud... "Not only are we here to protect the public from vicious criminals in the street but also to protect the public from harmful ideas." Robert Ingersoll, then Director of the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, in a column by Jack Anderson in the Washington Post, June 24, 1972, p. 31 (Ingersoll became the first director of the DEA in 1974) ![]() "The DEA is unequivocally opposed to the legalization of illicit drugs (including, marijuana, hemp, and hemp seed oil)." - US DEA booklet, "Speaking Out Against Legalization" Once-Secret Nixon Tapes Show Why US Outlawed Pot Nixon Launched The 30 Years' War as Election Issue DEA Success Update: Let's see. After 20 years of relentless federal Drug War activity, while the price of world-class marijuana has gone from $60 an ounce to $450, the price of quality cocaine has plummeted from $125 a gram to $30, and 30%-pure heroin has dropped from $700 a gram to about $100. Way to go, boys! High Times, April 1995 Think of the message being sent to the kids? Extradite Bush!
Bush's Contra Buddies by PETER KORNBLUH
The current President George Bush, whose very name evokes a dark era many would prefer to forget, seems determined to resurrect the ghosts of America's scandal-ridden past. A number of his foreign policy appointments are former Iran-contra operatives who are being rehabilitated and rewarded with powerful foreign policy posts. George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography by Webster G. Tarpley & Anton Chaitkin Chapter -XVIII- Iran- Contra We cannot provide here a complete overview of the Iran-Contra affair. We shall attempt, rather, to give an account of George Bush's decisive, central role in those events, which occurred during his vice-presidency and spilled over into his presidency. Cuban Terror Case Erodes US Credibility, Critics Say Jim Lobe WASHINGTON, Sep 28 (IPS) - The decision Tuesday by a U.S. immigration judge in Texas to deny Venezuela's request to extradite Luis Posada Carriles, whom Caracas has dubbed "the Osama bin Laden of Latin America", was greeted with surprise and disappointment by Latin America activists and even some former U.S. Venezuela wants Carriles to stand trial for the October 1976 bombing of a civilian Cubana Airlines flight that killed all 73 people aboard shortly after it took off from Barbados. Documentation showing Charles Keating being an attorney for Carl Lindnar of Ohio, owner of Chiquita Bananas & United fruit. Charles Keating had been the previous Attorney and Board of Directors of American Financial Corp. Parent company of Home State Saving, which was one of the first Savings and Loan collapses dating back to 1979. Documentation, given to me by a top intelligence operative that shows the indictments by Costa Rica, Senate & Congress of Carl Lindar, Oliver North, George H.W. Bush, General Singlaub, John Hall, General Richard Secord, Assistant U.S. Attorney William Richard Scruggs and others, involving Narcotics for weapons operations on Carl Lindnars Ranch in Costa Rica. Lindnar known as the OHIO Connection. The other Comptroller being Leonard Millman of Denver Colorado, known as the Denver Connection. Millman was the owner of 17,000 acres of property in Belize on the east coast of Mexico which was used for guns and drugs involving Panama and Nicaragua all part of Iran/Contra. This property in Belize had further ownership involving Neil Bush and CIA-Congressman Porter Goss of Florida, who now is the Chairman of the House Intelligence Oversight Committee. George and Félix: the tale of two old friends "In 1970, Bush stood as a Senate candidate. He failed to get elected. That same year, Félix Rodríguez joined Air America, another CIA front company, trafficking heroin from Laos to the U.S. drugs network of former Havana godfather Santos Traficante. The purpose of the smuggling was to influence the Laotian conflict by winning the support of isolated communities. The operation was led by Donald Gregg, who took his orders from Theodore Shackley. It was on this job that George’s buddy learnt the trade he was to practice years later in Central America. ![]() DEA Agent Celerino "Cele" Castillo III testimony For several years, I fought in the trenches of the front lines of Reagan's "Drug War", trying to stamp out what I considered American's greatest foreign threat. But, when I was posted, in Central and South America from 1984 through 1990, I knew we were playing the "Drug War Follies." While our government shouted "Just Say No !", entire Central and South American nations fell into what are now known as, "Cocaine democracies." While with the DEA, I was able to keep journals of my assignments in Central and South America. These journals include names, case file numbers and DEA NADDIS (DEA Master Computer) information to back up my allegations. I have pictures and original passports of the victims that were murdered by CIA assets. These atrocities were done with the approval of the agencies. I wonder if these idiots even REMEMBER why they outlawed the plant to begin with. After all these years, have they forgotten? They say they're working so hard for unity and they keep constant pressure on enforcing a law that was an ignorant, not to mention arrogant, attempt to get rid of other races.
You know, most know that marijuana is a threat to big oil, big Rx. And big protection. What would all the militaries and police do if there was nothing but peace and contentment? |
