some good news on the new strains front, a fellow patient recently bought some seeds straight from amsterdam, so i was able to get ahold of some of serious seeds' white russian and sensi seeds' afghani #1.
the white russian i am thrilled about, it was my personal favorite strain when i had gone to amsterdam for the cannabis cup in 2005, and afghani genetics have always been on my 'to get' list, having this bona-fide sensi strain certainly fits that bill. so stay tuned for updates on those plants, they should be some real killers. on to today, i am till fine tuning the growroom. conditions are not quite optimal thus i have a batch of stretchyish buds on a couple flo plants. Nearly every single calyx on the plant is fat as all hell and absolutely covered with trichomes, just not really a whole lot of clusters to make it as dense as it should be. i also had a small nug that had been chopped off a couple days ago that i gave the before and after treatment to with the assistance of my trusty vaporizer. this is a great tasting strain. it has a very sweet purple flavor. long live flo

looking good Tokin. nice dense branching on those young'ns.
friends new shop is looking like fun, but smokin around the plants? ![]() you happy with the azatrol? its just a concentrated neem product right? do you think it evaps cleanly when sprayed during early flower? we seen people starting to use it for gnats in the coco, seems a good solution cause you're usually only having to hit the bottoms of the plants. White Russian seems a popular one for Yhkns in CO eh? Do you guys know where the particular AK & Widow genes in your beans are coming from, or are you just attracted to it because its a popular regional strain? I know that not everyone concerns themselves too much with the background of their beans, but its gotta atleast cross your mind when you're searching through hybrids that so many "breeders" have knocked off, right? but anyways, whatever you & your buddies have got growing tends to always look great. surely a happily stoned crew & probably some very satisfied patients too

I got my white russian as a clone from my dispensary. I have no idea where they got the genetics, but I've smoked the same flowers genetics from my dispensary and love it. Don't really care where the genes came from to be honest. haah

i am growing it because when i went to the cannabis cup in 05, it was my personal favorite strain.
the person i recently got the beans from had ordered them through the attitude seed bank, with the seeds coming in their original pack from serious seeds. being that they were the ones who created the strain, i feel pretty good about it not being any kind of a knockoff. tho there has been one issue in the past where the attitude unknowingly bought seeds that were knockoff/counterfit/whatever, when they found out they immediately set about to right the situation. i think that it is just a popular strain overall because it is some kickfuckingass weed.
