I've actually had a very bad experience with MG organic... When I opened up the bag some bugs flew out, and they were the same bugs that invaded my grow room. I instantly knew where they came from now, since I had used the same kind of soil previously. I still can't get rid of them, every time I try to start again, even with different soil, they still come back.

Looking good so far Thesalmon, can't wait to see the babies poking thier little heads out. Good luck!

Shelbert, how long has it been since you opened that bag and what kind of bugs were/are they?

It's been well over a year since I had run into the problem originally. They were tiny little flying bugs, that fucking reproduce like mad. It's insane, they took over my grow room, so I had to bite the bullet and get rid of the plants and go on a complete cleaning of my grow room. And when I tried with some other normal non-organic soil, they somehow had survived and took over my other plants. I've been quite unsuccessful in getting rid of them.

what did you do?
you sprouted them.
then put them into cups.
did you bury them? how deep?
if only the tail had popped then it can take a few days for the plant to rise-up.

Very nice scro, you are living the American dream. Hopefully I will get my own apartment soon so I can start an indoor grow.

so more bad news and a little warning to everyone don't ever buy MG organic potting soil my roommate went in to check on my plants and put the last seed in the soil and saw on top of one of the cups of soil that i have had a spider mite sitting on the lip of the cup...so lets hope this was just a one isolated little bastard that was in just a small part of the soil... as soon as my plants get a little bit big im gonna get them out of that shit ASAP... just gonna go find some regular potting soil and mix some nuts in hopefully this works alot better man this growing thing is more complicated than one would think ... i have a feeling this is gonna turn in to an addiction tho....but a damn good one

Update-- 2 Weeks into Veg

Right now got 3 healthy plants, very happy about that. Just Xfered to 3 gallon containers today from their party cups. Having some issues with heat and humidity so I bought a humidifier and threw an oscillating fan in the mix. Only things needed at this point are a ph tester and a temp/humid gauge.
