Brainstorm

Well, I finally took the babes from the nursery and they are in their new home
Almost forgot, using Miracle-gro gardening soil, with composted cow manure and mushroom compost.

Builders merchants sometimes sell huge bags of perlite and or vermiculite cheap. You can say you are using it to bed in a fireplace if they ask what you want it for.

They seem to like the mix you are using buddy. Looking good, the potting up was smack on I'd say.

That's one big pot. Got a couple in the garage LOL
What's the biggest pot you've grown in to date? I'm kinda at the stage that 2 gallons are optimum for the room size.
Later we'll go back to 4 gallons, need moms.

Nice growth!

Oh I 'd put something in that ten gallon! Can you imagine what kind of HUGE tree that would make? ;-).. totally impractical but what a blast to grow! I can't remember where I saw it now, but there was this indoor grow where the grower got some insane amount per plant.. something like 36 ozs per. I'd giggle for days!

BTW BudSniffer, if you trim your basil back to just the bottom 2 inches, It'll grow twice as big next season.
