Hello Yahooka. I've been a member for a couple of years. Have not done much posting but have gotten tons of great info. I'm a first time grower and would like to shear this experience with you all.

My set up consist of 2 Walmart 26-Watt (100W) Soft White CFL 2700k and 2 EcoSmart 27-Watt (100W) Daylight 5700k CFL. Each one gives off 1,750 lumen's. I will be adding more as they grow bigger.

Soil:
Gardeners Gold[tm] Organic Potting Soil
A rich, all natural blend of finely screened, composted fir bark fines, worm castings, real topsoil, redwood peat moss, chicken manure, and sand. pH balanced with dolomite and oyster shell limes. Rich in long-lasting plant nutrients. Water saving formula. Provides excellent drainage. Good for all indoor or outdoor container plants.

Hey Pharm Girl. Well its just seeds i got from bags so who knows. I figured for my first time i didn't want to spend the money for good seeds from a bank till i know what i'm doing. Well i'm going to set up a vent system in the closet. Something like cut a hole and put in a celling vent for exit and vent size hole near the floor for intake. The Space is 6x2x8, the tan bin is holding my soil for now. once it trans into 1 gall i'm going to move it out of there so i'll have all that space.

Could be overwatering. Do you have an idea of the temperature in their crate? They're under 2 26w cfls at the moment right?

Don't let them dry out but don't keep them soaked all the time. When you do water them water generously. They can probably go a few days between waterings until they get bigger.
You can tell when they need watering by the weight of the pot- ie when the pot becomes light most of the water has gone. If they are heavy then they have enough water.

Obviously if they become parched they'll suffer but-
Overwatering is nearly as bad- no air can get to the roots and the pH of the soil can fluctuate.

Hey there..........PB... .....a few suggestions on my part.

Build up the soil around the little stems......easy does it on the watering. I was wondering about that soil yer using. Is it a light loom or more a heavy one?
Looks heavy over here...and the color of those little ones....is telling us something. When the color is off......so are the other elements. I'm curious about that soil and it's PH....as well as the water. Do you let is sit and are u adding something to it?...Nothing more than a very light 10-52-10...right?..

Well i'm using pettmoss cups on 10 out of the 14 which seam to dry out almost everyday. the others are in cups and stay wet for 2-3 days. So yes i'm watering them when they are light and the top soil is crusty. Also i'm not adding any nuts yet and i let my well water sit for 3 or more days before i use it.

I have a temp/therm gauge in there its always between 70 and 82 degrees and humidity is between 48% and 71%. I don't know much about the soil. Heres a link to there site "Link" It does seam a little thick to me but being my first time I wasn't sure what to add. I'm going to buy one of those soil gauges to check the Ph soon, just waiting on my check.

Thanks =) I had it to hot in there for the first couple of days and they weren't growing. I got a temp gauge and now they couldn't be happier. I hope i get the same results from seed bank seed next time threw.

Ok i just checked my planets and one had some bright green mold type stuff growing on the soil. first 2 are of that. I scarped the green off with a spoon and added a little fresh soil on top.

The next two are just todays pics of my crop. and the last one is a better pic of the soil i'm using right out of the bag.

It does look a little heavy like PG said. Because it is heavy, overwatering will cause problems.
You can thin it with perlite next time you pot up; available from most garden stores or builder's merchants.

The green stuff looks a bit like moss but it's probably algae. Moss would be fine but algae is a bit of a menace- it doesn't harm the plants itself but it tends to attract pests. So yeah, removing it or covering it up is probably a good move. Algae needs light to grow so covering it up by whatever means will stop it.

Use a dry mixture....as FG suggested cut with perilite....!

He's gonna hafta re-pot........in order to build up some of them. But, he's gonna have to be real gentle. And gonna wait till they dry out otherwise they're gonna break.

This a crutial stage of growth. Overwatering....IMO only triggers the male genes to come out....i've seen no documented evidence that suggests that females prefer a drier environment......... ...but something tells me we've had this conversation before.

I saw this one.......Camellia, Azalea & Gardenia Planting Mix.......I'd of chose that one.... it has guano, kelp,worms.......i'd add a tad of bone meal, some blood meal.......

I just bought it from my local gardening center they don't carry that one. Also would it be better to repot or just use the new mix with my next transplant into 1 gall?

^ if this was mine....i wouldn't hesitate and i'd re-pot asap....being ever so careful not to disturb squat!

use the same mix but cut it with either perilite or pro-mix....coconut hair.....or straight peet moss. i'm just of the mind that the soil is too hot!...

the stems should be able to stand on their own without the need for those little branches you have holding them up.....that makes me worried when i see that.

They seem to be standing on there own just fine. I agree about the soil though. This weekend is busy for me got tons of work to do. Its going to have to wait till Monday to re-pot. Thanks for all your input its been helping me out a lot. I'm so excited to see my little ones grow up big and strong =)

P.S.
Would it be a smart move to just re-pot them into a 1 gall right away?
