Hey, everyone. Just wanted to post up in the GTGH. I'm a hobby grower for myself and my girl, and I also share my bud with friends and family. I keep my plants small, flower in a tiny tent under a 400 watt HPS in a DIY cool-tube.
So, this is my first grow flowering cuttings, first time running these strains, and the first time I'm using a 50/50 mix of fresh mixed medium and recycled medium. Anyways, I have two plants going right now, one is a Nirvana NL x Shiva (I call her Niva for short) that I've been hanging onto for about 8 months. She's the plant I learned to clone with, plus out of the whole pack of seeds, she's the only one that really was exactly as the description for the strain says, as far as veg wise. Turns out I was right in my assumption. The other plant is a Powerhouse [C99 x Deep Chunk] x C99 (PHxC99 for short), essentially a C99 back cross, which was made by a couple of members on a different site. I received them as freebies. She is definitely a C99 leaning pheno, grapefruit as all hell. ![]() That's pretty much it. Now some pics.

Here is the Niva. These pics were taken on 03/25. When she first started to bud, she gave off a piney, fruity smell. Now, she has a more savory smell. If you sniff the buds undisturbed, you get hints of black pepper and skunk. If you rustle a trim leaf or rub a stem, it smells very sweet and skunky. In these pics, she's on Day 41 (12/12), and Day 28 (Flower).

Beautiful. I'm a sucker for a green bush.
Some interesting crosses for sure. You said the Niva was like the description in veg, did she turn out as the description of flower? Nice tent setup, better than some I've seen, judging by the videos on the web site.

Here is the other plant, the PHxC99. She started to produce trichs as soon as she started to bud. At first, she gave off an orange/tangerine scent, but has since morphed into pure grapefruit. She's maturing at a much faster rate than the Niva, so I'm guessing 8 weeks max for flower, and the Niva for probably around 70+/- days. These pics were taken on 03/25, and she is the same age as the Niva cutting.
Oh yeah, as you can see from the pics, both plants had a slight Mg. def. in early flower (the PHxC99 is a real Mg hog), but that was corrected with epsom. |

Hey, guys. Thanks for the kind words.
![]() Dan - Yeah, the description describes the NLxShiva as a spicy smoke, more exotic than the NL used in the cross. So far, dead on. I got a huge amount of males, though, so this pheno was the saving grace of that pack.

Here's the plants pictured today, 03/30. The PHxC99 just got her last feeding today. Next watering will be the start of her flush.
Both plants @ Day 46 (12/12), and Day 33 (Flower). First, the Niva.

And I usually go the other way... all females.
That powerhouse x c99 is surely a showy girl. Very nicely coloured buds. The good thing about the bushes is you can keep them nice and short and still get an excellent yield. Nice growing

Thanks, Dan. Yeah, it's my first time growing anything C99 related, so she's going to be a treat, I think.
Hey Dan, can I ask you something? This is my first time flowering cuts, so would you say my flower count is accurate? Do clones flower faster than plants from seed on average? This PHxC99 sure seems to be maturing rapidly. I would really like if I could get some opinions on her about her flower time (from everyone). |

Thanks, Cerebro.
![]() Here's a couple of tops from two different phenotypes of Nirvana's Chrystal, which was my last grow. Nothing really special, yield is great, and it's pretty potent, but they both pretty much taste like cardboard, and you build a tolerance up very easy. The older calyxes on the pheno 1 plant turned purple, but the color faded with the cure to a dark brownish. |

Nice!
Doesn't seem to matter how strong the herb is, I build up a tolerance fast. Variety is the key for me. |

Hey everyone, thanks for all the positive comments.
I would be more than happy to smoke you all out, but you'll all have to come to my lab.
