there must be pollen for seeds.

a hermie would show male flowers, and those flowers would be the source of the pollen.

bees/wasps could be the source of pollen also.

that's what they do

I had my own run-in with the wasps last season...and it wasn't a pretty site!

The seeds from hermie pollen will be feminised but they will probably inherit the tendency to herm.

In theory the odds of feminised seed herming are higher than regular seed.
But it depends a lot on how careful the manufacturers have been with their breeding.

There were no light leaks? That is a common cause.

85F is a bit high but not outrageous.

20 seeds is not too bad, if that is all there are. You may get away with frequently inspecting the plants and removing any bananas and pollen sacks.
Or if it is only one plant and the problem persists you may decide you have to cut it down early.

Pain in the arse isn't it?

mornin all i got the girls out for a very detailed inspection and i found 2 with a few very small bananas so ive chopped them and trimmed em and theyre hanging in a nice dark place
ive dried a few sticky hairy buds in the microwave(primative i know)and its a really nice smoke
my ears are ringing?lol
the other 5 are fine so far anyway
one of them on the small side cola had clusters of immature seeds so ive cut them off just 2 b sure
gotta be vigilant now and hope for the best
i thought feminized seeds were female and that was that-but apparrently not- feminized seeds r prone 2 this kind of thing?
r they worth the extra expense
peace jed
hope ur plants do better sp

yes ive been reading about NL too, im in between that and ukcheesehead nightmare kush as ive read good things about the two, i wish i had space to have a separate veg room so that i could have a mother plant or two so that i have good genetics and also guaranteed females but im a bit short on space for another room.
good luck with the other five mate
