That's the problem with potting into big pots so soon, it's going to be a little harder to lose that initial stretch, it seems to be resolved now though, the new growth seems pretty tight.

I would (and this is a personal thing) probably repot them lower at some point before they grow to large a root ball and make it much harder.

Try taking pictures either at night time (just after the lights are down) or with some added flash, it brings out tghe colours a lot better.

And if you're growing your own, do yourself a favour and dump those scales, give 'em to a mate to hold. They'll immediately up your charge to intent to supply.

the initial stretching was caused by poor lighting, my bad

see, the reason they stretched was because I was using two floros.

The first floro was about 2 feet above them, instead of about 2 INCHES like it should have been.

The other floro was on its side, and about 2 feet away, and they were stretching towards it. Heres a pic:








I am now using a 400w HPS with ballast, and they are doing wonderful so far.

They claim its more indica, but who knows!

Ive heard nothing but good things about this strain though!

I've dealt with KC Brains' Mango before. I didn't flower them indoors, but I did grow several mothers and many many clones went outside. They make an outrageous claim of around 5 pounds/plant outdoor yeild (The plant unfortunately didn't finish outside in my climate, but the smoke was still decent, although yeild was low.)

I wanted to let you know that that if that's the same strain, it gets HUGE. It does claim a pure Indica... it gets damn tall for an Indica. Youll likely have to top that plant. It is a very branchy plant, and clones root very quickly. Topping the plant will really make it bush out, and should make for a good yeilder, while still controlling height.

If you want a strong multi stalked plant, topping must be done early. Wait 'till your plants get thier first set of 5 bladed leaves, then nip odd the tip, leaving a minimum of two developed nodes behind. These two nodes each will grow 2 branches, resulting in a 4 branched plant. Using stakes, carefully train these 4 brances outwards from the centre stalk. Be mindful not to break off any branches. You can leave this to grow as is, or you can repeat the process again to make an even shorter, bushier plant. By training large brances to grow as far apart as possible from each other, you open up the structure of the plant and allow more light exposure to the lower nodes, thus increasing yeild. The bottom line is to train them to fill all availiable space. Farmer Fred's plant is a perfect example of this.

With 400w, you will get about 1 1/2 - 2 feet of vertical budding area on each plant (if that makes sense). Measuring from the top of a plant that has already stretched and is well into bud (say 3 weeks in) , cut off all the small scrawny braches and leaves below 2 feet. This lets the plant concentate on the good stuff up top.

Depending on if your bulb is horizontal or vertical you want it about 18" away from the tips with horizontal and around 12 with vertical.

i just use scissors. you can also take the tops and clone them, in that case youd wanna use a very sharp knife or razorblade or somethin. id wait on yours tho till they were a little more sturdy, but not too long bcuz they look like theyre about to take off! good luck
