Yeah kosh, very Indi, med stash! ;-)

I've got a little too chronic for my liking recently so a little heavy night time smoke will hopefully be in one of those honeys.

Tell me about it sput·nik, thick chunky plants all through, the foliage even has a thicker feel. I suspect their high elevation roots have led them to be fairly strong in the wind that whip through the passes at times.

The mix is very simple:

30% potting soil (JAB PEAT FREE)
20% castings
20% perlite
20% vermiculite
10% from the last remaining bit of the compost pile (potting soil with guano and lime amendments)

It's light on feed because I want to move away from long mix soil and experiment with the bio/organic stuff from the Canna range (BIO-CANNA). I'd like to see how it compares against my usual feeling lazy nutes from Age Old (AGE OLD ORGANICS) which is becoming rarer and rarer at my local store.

Take it easy all.

Thanks Sevengoals, the following post won't be! :-P

Damn I had forgotten how SMALL indica doms are. Ickle cabbages! Damn things, I neeeeed some fucking height!!

Stupid things.

Anyway. I decided to switch them to 12/12 today they're really small but I basically can't wait, excessive veg periods do my nut in. I know I know, it's dumb, I should let them go a little longer and I'm going to suffer for it BUT I JUST DON'T CARE. I wanna see some muff!

MAYBE I'll kick em back once they've sexed (bad practise anyone reading this). There's enough material on them to take a clone or two if needs be.

I don't know!

Anyway, got some some beans the other day which have blown my plans anyway and hence the advance in timetable. I want and need to try them as I think they will be great, in everyway. And shit I need that. And I want to get back to sat doms!

I shouldn't have had that last scotch.

Buzzing, yeah, could say that been a weird week and some. But the tiller is steady again so let's get this old dog creakin'.

Let's start with the beans, beans, beans, kinda shot out of my head there. I've been after some SSH freebies for awhile but I've finally given in and paid for the fuckers *stomp stomp*, I couldn't get pre-Shanti-departure ones though *stomp*. Cha, well. To make up though I did get hit up with some Cheese x SSH and (Cheese x SSH) x SSH from the same buddy who hit up one o my DWDs with some of the pollen from a male of the above female parental line (Cheese x SSH). I hope indoors these things will produce massive bud spears of funky old school herb with a cracking clear crystal buzz and I reckon outdoors in a proper climate they could well produce some MASSIFFFFFFFFFE trees!

Moving on. What am I CRAZY? Some kind of proper loon i tell ya!! I've been fucking up left right and centre, fucking super-noob here!!

Un - The room is massively over filled with Indica cabbages and I don't have the heart to cull anything! Damn squat bastards taking up as much width as height, damn thick fan leaves creating veritable darkness for anything not quite up with the pace.

Due - As a rare user of liquid ferts and one who has always been so loyal to OAO I'm finding it difficult to adjust! FUCKING NOOOOOOOOOOOOOB! A couple of early deficiencies (the compost was the last of the batch and kinda shitty) have now been corrected the Shiva as ever want way more N than anything else in the garden and the DWD are hungry fuckers! The MLI seem fairly happy to plod along, consistancy is the key here I've not seen such similarity in a seed crop for awhile, however one or two plants did differ in profile (mentioned again later) but not drastically. The SSIM of course are varying left right and centre, one or two look particularly lovely though.

Tre - Differing plant profiles amongst type have led to one or two of the shorter vars having to either be put on some risers or left to drown in the canopy or stretch. I'm lazy, I let them decide, one or two them decided to get eaten by the jungle and the others decided to put on some stem. I did pity one nice looking plant and moved him out from under another but hey, nature is as nature does.

Quattro - I haven't looked in detail but the water here is pretty rank, ph is ok, but it's pretty hard and i reckon there is a lot of calcium in it.

Cinque - The cold winter air is making it difficult to get any RH into the room at all and that just exacerbates any potential problems particularly nute def/burn!

On more postive notes the sexing has begun and as ever the males excite me as much as the girls, oo err, freudian freudian, so far we're on about a 60pc/40pc split f/m and I have found two gem males. First up an MLI with such a lovely aroma already, nice sturdy but hollow stems, OK internodal length and what looks like it will develop into tight floral clusters, what I like about this one is the development of the secondary growth, it is ALL vertical! Secondly a DWD with the same traits as above but with exceptionally tight internodal length and a more traditional christmas tree profile. They're now chilling by a frosted (as in not see through rather than cold!) window with plenty of light during a short day and some cuts of them are in to root, they'll start to bloom soon and I'll evaluate again them before chucking/keeping them.

I've decided to keep clones of NONE of the SSIM females even though there are some nice ones because I don't want to be eternally guessing what it is, I'm probably not going to keep any of the MLI as I want to try another seed run with them on there own and a larger veg period and I have no need to keep another DWD.

Interestingly most of the SSIM are now sexed but the MLI are being slow to show either way, I did have a couple of VERY early boys from them but largely they are still unsexed 7 days into bloom (25 days total).

Hmm, what else can I say.

How many idiots does it take to change a HID bulb?

Ten. One to hold the bulb and nine to turn the grow room round and round.
