What a beautiful garden sureshot! Good luck with your grow. How long till harvest?
I am out harvesting thoughts today and had a question for you if you don't mind....Generally, do you tend to hit your ladies with more n in the first 1/2 of flower? your sativa's too? or does it depend on the strain? |

Hey SS, plenty of variety in Eden.
Thanks for the chuckles. SSH is in my top five, hope to grow her soon, so I'll be watching how you go. Cheese x sounds wicked. Are you going to veg them for long? |

Beautiful as always. Super Silver Haze... it even sounds racy.
How do you deal with hard water? I imagine the nutes would be manufactured to help somewhat? You have a real nice variety, I am still chuckling over cabbage LOL

Hi Jenna, thanks for the compliment, the girls will blush! I reckon they'll be done in 8-10 weeks, depending on what are in there, I'm looking for narcotic medi stash to send me to bed with sweet dreams so I'l give most of them their time!!
Ferts...mm, hmm, as a rule, yeah I will give them a decent amount of veg orientated feed for a good portion of flower but ultimately the amount does depend strain to strain or even plant to plant. What I tend to do is mix up full strength nutes whenever I am working and along with that an equal portion of water, then I will mix individual mixes for each plant/strain/line/room with proportion of nute and water. Say some need half strength, I'll just add the same amount of the plain water as nute mix into the can. As I normally grow with organic ferts mixed into the soil for the cycle in that pot (slow break down rather than instant uptake) or organic teas the whole how much liquid ferts to use with this bio-canna range is up for debate. Right now at what 9 days into bloom they are getting three quarter strenght veg, half strength bloom, a pinch of rhizo and a pinch of cannazyme. They seem to have recovered from their early deficiencies and have a decent amount of vigour but I definately haven't sorted the Shiva yet! I'm used to quicker flower development on Indicas than this I'm but too used to growing super quick flowering clones for indi stash, ho hum. Funny how we adjust our perceptions. Stoned, excuse the rambling! The grow goes on. Hope you and yours are well. Hi Cerebro, it's a lovely smoke, not quite up there with the classic sativas, of which oz has a few good surfer trail imports itself, but for a commercial one, w00t. I'm tempted to try Arjans Haze as well despite his bad press because if there's one thing i stand by in everything, don't be fooled by the hype, fuck the naysayers til you've tried it! 'Owever I'm such a fucking dizzy bastard that who knows what will happen, right now the plan is run these out, maybe do another percy MLI run letting a few veg for a decent time cos i reckon they have the potential to be full on 70s porn star bushes (i wanted to do a tree grow just before summer but now a bush grow sounds fun! Then after that run the Cheese x SSH with maybe four weeks veg, leave a little space and chuck in a few SSH for two of those four, who knows, the SSH will have to wait til after the summer though cos I want hit up some buddies on the continent and I don't see a 14 week window between now and then!! The Cheese x SSH really interest me, I'm going to double up and send some to some pals with better outdo seasons than we have and hopefully in return we will see some tree pics! Howdy Dan-Man, how's it dingly dangling? I find with hard water you just have to go a little easily with nutes, GH make a specific hard water a range and I have no doubt others do but as a rule i just dial it down a little. The water around here in largely well water so there is often iron or calcium or limestone in it in fluctuating amounts, on a hydro table I'd be concerned but I don't give too much of a damn in my soil, I'll adjust it within reason but I don't get anal about it. Update - Room stripped for curious visitors, plants will spend 48 hours in the cold and dark. It's going all Sput-nik! Bunker stylee! :-) Peace and love all. Wish me luck! Oooh yeah, updated pics. Thrice SSIM girls.

So many tempting sativas to consider, I'm looking at African Sativas atm for next season, I'll probably also have a few BBxOriginalHaze F1's to experiment with and I am undecided about an early finishing indica for balance.
Hope the girls handle no lights well for you, all your leaves look so vibrant I'm sure they'll be fine. Good work mate. |

Thanks kosh. It is nice to have some new genetics in the garden! I've been working for too long and it's time to play!
lol, Dan, someone else said a scorpion poised or perhaps a squid! Sometimes when I'm wrecked looking at plants, or canopies, is sorta like looking at clouds. Cheers Omerta, the MLI are losing the fat leaves as they grow and becoming more traditional in their profile. I'm loving one pheno enough to give these another run with a larger veg time. Looking forward to see how your Mexi develops. Hey Cerebro, I know, it's a killer, soooo many strains soooo little time. I keep adding projects to mine and my buddies lists but it'll never ALL happen! Damnit, time to trade the house for a barn!! So you have any ideas what to do for the Indica? I'd think about something by Canna Biogen, I saw a garden last summer (05) made up mostly of Taskenti and it looked absolutely mint. Finished late October/first week November (northern hem) in polytunnels and the finished product was lovely, oh so hashy but deep and tangy with it. Cha, another on the list! lololol So update, the girls varied in their reaction to the dark but they are all happily flowering now. The variance of profiles has led to a few small problems but the plants have been spread around to cope. Note - you should really deal with this by training those that are too tall rather than just dumping the tall ones under a different lamp! I want to see what they do on their own though, i'm such a voyeur, so excuse me my growing faux pas. Slap my wrists, or my arse if your an attractive female dom! Pervshot. Anywho. Two week DWDs (these had a week less veg than the others so will take a little extra time to bloom).

MLI next. I love this bush. There is two distinct phenos in profile, both branchy but one branches tight to the stem vertically and the other one bushes. I kept a male of the vertical brancher with a smell that would out skunk some fully blooming FEMALE skunk crosses, i'll take a piccy next time I remember.

And EEK!! the two REAL LANKY mofos! Whether this was totally the 48 hour darkness I won't say but that and the cold didn't help, however a few sensi seed strains will stretch so hey, the others survived ok so we'll withhold judgement. : - \

Nice sturdy legs on the babies for sure.
Beautiful pic of the spider. I usually arrange the taller on the perimeter, shorter down the centre. When I have mostly Sativa doms it does get sketchy. Looking good Sureshot.

Thanks Dan, i did a BAD thing and ended up taking some cuts of some of my favourites and now I'm in trouble as I have no room for them so i rigged a single flo tube to the bottom of the desk in our study and put them under there!! I reconciled my differences with my girl but she still tutted!!
Hey hypno, the cam is just high street electronics. A casio in fact. does have a nice lense though, can get a focal length of maybe 25mm. The biggest problem with most shots I see is the lighting, standard camera flashes are crap for the kind of shots we all love but many high street digis don't have the adaptors for a ring flash or something similar, I've found that a couple of Rizla over the flash dial it down just enough to give a similar effect as natural lighting/a ring flash. Oh and for note, the images that get posted are rarely cropped. I usually shoot at 1600 x 1200 and just resize them down, you have to lose a lot of quality and definition to get them to postable size but I'm noit too anal about it. You can generally get the gist!! Sometimes I will crop though......
