The Spiritual Smoke Compliments & Encouragement Thread!

It has been said:

. . .and now it is so! Let everyone know that despite any discrepancies between your viewpoints and theirs you still respect them and hope that whatever knowledge they posess eventually leads them to where they would like to go! I'll get things started:

EgoTripping: Your conceptions of how a human experiences this reality we inhabit are very advanced. You have personally realized many higher concepts and continually put them into practice, trying to offer others the nectar of this knowledge. Aptly named, you are very strong in your beliefs yet not above considering new information and augmenting it onto your already well-conceived worldview. Keep it up!

reverie: Of all YaHookans, you seem to be the most curious: and honestly so! I'm not very clear on where exactly you stand on issues pertaining to the Transcendental THC fora, but your good-willed questions and musings are a constant source of delight for me; not to mention others, I am sure! You have shown intelligence and honesty, and these qualities will never do you any wrong. Cherish them!

Waves: You are a very great student of science, and although sometimes at odds, no one can argue that your conception of reality is any less advanced than that of EgoTripping. I too was once enamoured with science (I spent my entire childhood and teenage years reading Sagan, Gamow, Hawking, Kaku, et cetera and went to university with the aim of becoming an astrophysicist), and your love and admiration of it are more than understandable! Science is a good way of rationalizing the world we live in, and the knowledge you display is solid testimony to that!

ziplock: You and I are always at odds, but at least you have the courtesy to consider my and other people's beliefs in light of what you believe. I suspect that our positions are not as different and irreconcilable as you may think, and I hope to continue our intelligent debates!

JahBohl: You have treated me much like ziplock in that you are also often countering my claims and arguments. Being intelligent and reasonable, these counters force me to analyze my beliefs critically, and for that I thank you! Don't be a stranger!

There will be more to come down the line I am sure, but for now tall everyone how much you appreciate their company on these wonderful YaHooka boards!

Your decision and ability to make such a thread I would take as testament to your character. The concern and good will you display. Yahooka needs more then just talk to make it the fun place we all love, and you've done just that.

Peace & Love to all my fellow Yahookans. I'm here to see all the diverse opinions that help me to think outside the box so to speak. Verk, keep thinking brother, don't fade away as your name might imply.

Wow..This is extremely delighting! Thank you Verklingen for starting this thread, as YaCanuck said it is a great display of character. Also, a big thanks to The Rev for the idea.

With that said, I know I havent been here long and don't know you all too well, but here we go;

Verklingen: First of all thank you for your compliments towards me, I highly appreciate it. I admire the fact that you address as many points as you can when you post, and that you answer all of my questions honestly. This displays that you are a considerate person. You are very in depth and explain things thoroughly so people best understand your position. You seem like a very disciplined and devoted person which is a lot more than many can say.

Ego Tripping: You are very observant and seem to be very stable in your position. I like the fact that your views are very dynamic and full of possibility. I am always interested in reading your posts, they seem to posses an almost poetic nature, very cool. You and I seem to be on the same page in many areas. I love your sig btw, probably one of my fave quotes.

Waves: I find your posts to be very intruiging. You seem to be a pretty open person, who is very knowledgable spiritually as well as logically when not many people are in both areas. You think and experience simutaneously, which is crazy cool. I really like that you seem to be into astral projection and lucid dreaming. I am also very interested to hear of your experiences like I mentioned previously.

The Rev: You seem to be a very humble and considerate person. You are very open and unintimidating when you approach a topic. The knowledge you provide is very thoughtful and well directed. I like the fact that you come up with ideas or alternatives in topics while others are on defense. I have a lot of respect for you. Keep on Keeping on.

ziplock: You are probably one of the most thoughtful users here. Your posts are very insightful and challenging. I love the fact that you approach things from as many angles as you can. Taking on many perspectives to gain the whole picture. You are very focused and well directed. Our beliefs seem to be one in the same, yet you still manage to make me think.

It's just you guys sucking each others ass...

Not that I don't think you're doing a wonderful job of it, but it does seem a bit, I dunno...

Self serving.

On that note, I myself wish to thank all YaHookans for bringing diversity to the forefront and never being afraid to say things that although may not exactly be mainstream, are certainly your earnest beliefs and for that you should be commended.

My hats off to all YaHookans!

Even the dicks.

Verk: I cannot convey how much you have helped me on my path towards personal enlightenment (I hate using this word now-adays). You've been an inspiration. The way you are able to break down the EXTREMELY complex way society works into a way that many of us intellecuals can relate is profound. Although my personal belief system is now straying from yours I simpy find that as proof of the individuality you've preached for some time now. Hopefully I've helped you in some similar way. Cheers!

Ego: When I first came to this website you we're the positive to my negative. I literally searched for your posts and read for a solid 12 hours. To say that you had a major role into my development would be an understatement on the level of a politician in the public eye. I hope your doing well!

Waves: You've had (imo) a similar viewpoint into life as Ego, however you presented your ideas in different ways which forced others to question themselves. You have a very bright mind and a healthy amount of insight into life that many people twice your age would be wise to envy.

Dub & Hostile: Two of the most realistic people on this board. Their are two kinds of people on this board: the theoretical and the realists, I'm happy to say I include both of you into the ladder. Your logic and understanding of the 'real world' and what happens in that world are spot on and many people here would do quite well to understand that.

I know I've forgot some--I'm quite drunk right now--but I hope you are all doing well and succeeding in all your ambitions!

GHM: you make outrageous claims, piss people off, listen to metal... you are a purebred american

Mercury: you clearly dont give a fuck

The Rev: the oracle

Sage tree: way too many big words dude, but if i could translate them im sure it would be so profound i probably would still have to further break it down into a mathematical formula in order to further translate it into spanish wich i cannot understand. basically no matter what you say or do i will never fully understand your way of thinking

Waves: witty and sarcastic in the most humble way, witch makes it burn even worse. your like the nicest asshole ive ever seen.

The rest of you people: havent caught my attention enough to judge you

i would just like to compliment anyone who posts in this part of yahooka, and encourage all of you to continue to be thinkers. there are far too many mindless drones in our society and its pretty shameful that many people dont seem to be up for a conversation involving metaphysics or any ideas for that matter.

with that said i would also like to thank everyone for giving me alot to think about because i dont get alot of exposure to deeper thinking from my companions in daily life.

i would describe this part of yahooka as the 'brains' and we all know what part ffa would be
