Couldnt be more correct.

Of course its a fairly logical conclusion to say "The only true ME is my physical body."

To borrow a line from I heart huckabees, thats true, but its not the whole truth.

We extend way further than our bodies, encompassing many many aspects of "ourself."

The only thing that really matters is the information you give yourself through the action of "thought" and behavior. You choose what you think, which in turn affects what you DO. Its all choice. And to borrow a line from the beatles,

The love you make is equal to the love you take

I dont believe anything evolved actually, i dont have any set beliefs in that area.

But to think to yourself "oh thats just the way it evolved" without questioning HOW it might have evolved is basically the same action as a religous person saying "oh thats just the way it happened."

Science isnt infallable. Its good, but its got its issues.

Again, im not trying to teach anything here, im just making conversation. How would we evolve a faculty, and why, to hamper the physiological damage of the trauma of death, when science believes our physicological state to be the sum of your bodies functions? Wouldnt that be working backwards?

Oh here is a description of what happens at a meeting

When attending a Spirit Card Precipitation Circle with Hoyt, he introduces himself and explains what is going to transpire during the circle. Hoyt will first give a synopsis of the process: he puts blank index cards and a host of different writing and drawing paraphernalia into a small, tightly-woven basket. He then gives everyone a message and then opening the basket, he reveals the cards with pictures and our names on them at the end.

When you arrive at the given time for the Circle, you will be given a small piece of paper with instructions on it, this is called a Billet - Using Billets is a form of psychometry - the ability to read the vibrations and energy of an object. Billet is a French word, which means "little letter." This Billet will then be dropped into a basket for Hoyt to deliver your message during the circle, as Hoyt is blindfolded.

Hoyt gives a sealed pack of index cards to someone in the audience who has never been to a circle before, and he asks that person to open the pack and verify that the cards are all completely blank.

Hoyt sets his "snake basket” (and explains what a snake basket is) in front of everyone as he places an assortment of different writing and drawing supplies into the basket, (such as markers, gel pens, pencils, and crayons) . Hoyt actually layers the blank index cards and these supplies as if making a lasagna in his basket. He explains that your guides, teachers and loved ones, use the essence of those things, the ink, material and pigments, so that sharpening the pencils or removing the covers and caps of other utensils is not needed.

At this point the lid is placed tightly onto the basket and the circle begins as the basket is placed in front of the circle - usually on a small table. At which time Hoyt starts to take you through the process as he blindfolds himself. First, Hoyt starts taping his eyes and then covers them with a blindfold. Hoyt will usually give some last minute instructions, any of those I have left out, and he starts picking up the billets from the basket and starts to deliver messages to all those in the circle. You will hear Hoyt start as he say’s the name of someone physical who is sitting in the circle and telling them that this message is for them from Spirit. Other times he would say the names of people in spirit, and one person in the room knew those names and thus another reading would begin. Yet other times he says that he is coming directly to a person and begins speaking to them. This sort of thing happens for an hour or more, as long as is necessary for all the people in the room to receive a message.

Hoyt's messages are very accurate. They seem to usually be about something going on in your life at the present or in the near future, and he then relays a helpful piece of advice. He also talks about the people who are around you in spirit and gives some of their names. Sometimes, these names will later appear on your card. And at times Spirit will let Hoyt know to tell you that they are busy working on their picture, that will be on your card when the basket is opened.

When Hoyt finishes delivering a message to each person, it is time to open the basket and to receive the cards. All of these cards have beautiful pictures and artwork on the front side and names written on the back. The person who receives the card does not write these names, and Hoyt does not write them. These names are written from our loved ones, guides, teachers, saints, ascended masters etc… in Spirit. And the entire card is amazing and beautiful. I love watching the look on everyone’s face , even Hoyt’s, when he starts to pull the Spirit Cards out of the basket, and to see the ones where there spirit guide told them they would be on their spirit card. At this time Hoyt is usually ready to be recharged with energy, but he takes the precious time to mingle and look over all the cards with us. I also enjoy this time, to have a chance to mingle and look at everyone’s spirit cards, and I offer a small reading or message to those who ask, it is so amazing to see all of what is given to us from spirit and I try to point out all of it to the person whose spirit card I am holding. This is truly wonderful and amazing experience.

I have noticed over the years, these wondrous gifts that Hoyt brings us with the spirit cards will show an individual their spiritual journey, as we learn about spirit, our guides, teachers, angels, saints, loved ones, they have so much to share with us and show us, by placing the essence of themselves in the form of these pictures, brings an understanding and clarity in our lives, the affirmation of the continuity of life, healing, hope, so much love, and closure as we walk forward to be our authentic self here on Mother Earth.

Every animal that has ever died and come back to life has had trouble reproducing because he was really fucked up afterwards. Maybe it's a way to keep the consciousness entact while the brain is dead, so that if you do come back to life, you won't be a body without consciousness, yet conscious and alive, just not yourself.

I don't fucking know. I've thought about it thuogh. That's one of the possibilities. If you keep asking me questions I'll keep giving you possibilities. But I feel like I'd be falling into your trap of going back and forth and not really talking about anything at all. Seriously, what has this discussion become? We aren't even arguing anything based on facts. We're spouting mere conjecture. This is pointless. You always drag me into these things because I feel like I'm the antidote to your dote. I get us both talking about something so absurd that no one takes either of us seriously and I have saved Yahooka from ignorance for one more day.
