dont argue about right and wrong or fair and unfair. if you let yourself get into the habit of arguing about rights and wrongs there will be no end to the aggrivations you make for yourself

we can "learn" secular knowledge, but we can never pretend that we are able to "learn" spiritual wisdom in the same way as we do secular knowledge. limited by our imperfect perception, like all ordinary people are, we can never truly comprehend the bible through research or study. so, you may think you understand the meaning of a sacred text after reading it, but your understanding is as illusive as the moon's reflection on the water becuz it comes more from your imagination and speculation than from a genuine overstanding achieved through spiritual practice. so you should not cling to the words of any verse and adopt a literal interpretation of what you read. the letter of the law is death, but the spirit is eternal love

we should not waste time thinking vain thoughts but spend every moment giving up thanx and praises. when walking or sitting, when working or eating , when washing or exercizing or peeing or whatever, constantly giving up thanx and praises, shining a light of love

we should expect to be persecuted by the wicked and evil, and remain unmoved in our positive attitude no matter what downpression is suffered
we should pray for and bless our downpressors, shining our lovelight so that they may see their way out of darkness.

we should always remember that our personality is not who we really are, but that our real Self is that same real Self of all other sentient beings

I think one should examine his believes and find out if the teachings when applied to everyday life are really the right ones for him, you cant just accept something as right or wrong just coz the head of your religion said so. If there is a god he gave you inteligence and the ability to reson things out for a reson, and not to believe blindly what u ve been taught.
And maybe this god would prefer u to praise him by showing love and compassion towards other beings with your everyday deeds, rather than saying "praise u lord" each time u move a muscle.
