my pov exactly

I agree, I remember when I first saw a Bashar thread on these forums, I immediately questioned the integrity of the guy... I think I made a comment about the price of his DVD's...

I can see how I missed the point then... so... the guys either an alien or a shrewd businessman, the message he gives out really is spot on... I am trying my best to implement the ideas I have learned about positive and negative perception into my life. It is pretty hard going sometimes as I think I have had a lot of negativity ingrained into my way of thinking over the past 28 years... but at least now, thanks to the open minded perceptions of various people who's opinions and ideas I have read with great interest over the past year or two, I can see that all of the negativity in my life is my own doing rather than a grand conspiracy against me... to the point where it seems bizarre that I used to blame other people and neutral situations for ALL of my problems!
I only wish I had have come across this sort of information sooner rather than struggling with negativity for so long... but that in itself is a negative perception! lol

Plus his voice lends itself to sampling brilliantly!
I used a cut of him talking for the intro of the last edition of our net radio show... sounded ace!

Good for you! Its impressive to see you admit something's wrong after 28 years. Most people will say "I dont have a problem" and they die with it. As far as Bashar what Ive seen of him I really like especially coming from a western mind of the current century I think the wisdom he posesses is extremely rare in this culture. Other guys you might like if you like him are: Krishnamurti, Swami Chinmayananda, and Sogyal Rinpoche's just to name a few. All 3 of these guys are readily available on Youtube. Good luck on your journey of self.

The name Krishnamurti rings a bell, never heard of the others... I will have a look... thanks.

I remember someone from here recommended Robert Anton Wilson to me a while back, have read one of his books so far... Prometheus Rising... very interesting stuff... maybe more rooted in Neurology than Metaphysics but still amazing when you realise the power your mind has to make a difference!
