Those weren't legal suggestions or anything

I personally HAD read it before, but if I hadn't I'd still want the FULL/Silver text.
Blue is quotes and helps you get the MAJOR gist of the Text, which is good, and might spur you to find the full one...

But yea.. I'd have chose Silver, but I know lots of people here have the Blue and have enjoyed it just the same.

I was just curious.

The Bhagavad Gita is also 'known' as the 'Song of God' translated from Sanskrit, the ancient language of India....
And it's not locked up.... here it is.... completely open to everyone and free as can be.

It's chapters are fairly short and readable.
There are 18 of them.

Yes, this is theism, but no, it's not the one most of us grew up with.

It does address some classic issues from theism, however even these seem rather open and accessible in a real way as living and philosophy aren't separated in many 'Eastern' Paths.

Practically speaking, it outlines the yogas or practices to 'God-Realization'/ Unity/Oneness.
But more universally, it's a Way to practicing living intentionally and placing one's awareness on correctly understanding your 'Self' and it's place in the cosmos and most importantly... this world, this planet called Earth.
